UNDERSTANDING THE REFINER’S MANDATE: UNDERSTANDING THE REFINER’S MYSTERY [B]

UNDERSTANDING THE REFINER’S MYSTERY [B]
REFERENCES: ROMANS 11: 33, JOB 5:8-9, PSALM 145: 3-6, PSALM 77:19

Rom 11:33
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements

This man has seen something.
He is telling you that he has seen the riches of God in wisdom and knowledge; and he is letting you know that the depth of what he saw was unsearchable.

Brethren, your God cannot be calculated.
No research institute, no place of higher learning established by man can teach the wisdom and knowledge of God, because they are unsearchable.
No power of wickedness can access that realm either, for it is a path that no vulture hath seen (Job28:7)

This means that the only reason secular knowledge can still confound you, and wicked powers still get at you, is because you are yet to enter the unsearchable realm of God.

The refiner’s mandate is to dispense this unsearchable wisdom, and knowledge.

The depth of God’s knowledge, understanding, and wisdom- of His judgement- is unsearchable.
Before these, the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, boasting of men and spirits stagger, because where they end is where His begin.

…and his ways past finding out!

Oh! that you would know that you are unstoppable, because your ways are past finding out.

In Egypt, the magicians thought they could match Moses act for act; but the time came when they were forced to concede that they could not proceed any further; and that the acts of Moses were evidence of the finger of God.

Brethren, unclean spirits- their works and their ways- are searchable; but the ways of the Holy Spirit are unsearchable. How then could any person boast of searching out the ways of the Spirit in you?

Job 5:8-9
I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number.

This is the determination of a wise man. It is the declaration of one who understands that he is limited in his mental capacity; that his own level of knowledge and understanding cannot do him take him far in the journey of life.

Since he is not sufficient to think from the greatest depth of wisdom, or live at the utmost height of greatness by himself, he commits his way unto God, who is renowned for doing great things.

However, God does not just do great things; He does great things that are unsearchable things.

This is why you are called to this mandate, to do great and unsearchable things in your world.

If your household and contemporaries can calculate your ways, and figure out what you do, then you are yet to begin living out your true mandate. You are yet to live at your full potential as a refiner.

The things God does are unsearchable because His ways of doing things are past finding out. They are downright foolishness to man. Yet, when you walk in them, you become a mystery to your world. They are confounded by the results you generate, and they stumble in the dark trying to understand how you do what you do.

He does great things.
He does great things that are unsearchable.
He does great things that are marvellous.
He does great things that are innumerable.

Now, the One you follow determines what follows you.
So, if you follow this God, you too will do the kind of things He does.
When men ask you why you do the great and unsearchable things you do, simply let them know that you are walking in the order of this unsearchable and great God.

Do you see why you are unstoppable? There is no limit to the level of marvellous, unsearchable greatness you can enjoy in Him.

No wonder the devil could not find out the ways of Jesus.

He was confounded by Jesus, that he sought to kill Him.
When he thought he had finally succeeded in killing Jesus, it turned out that all he had actually done was nail his own coffin.

The devil could not see that he had been working against himself. He could see the divinely genius plan at play. For Jesus destroyed the devil by allowing the devil to kill Him.

Ps 145:3-6
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works…

No one is greater than your God.
Consider the boldness of a child under the protective cover of his father. He can go looking for trouble, because he is sure of daddy’s protection and defence.

When God is at home in your life, you also can boldly declare, like Daddy’s little boy, that no devil is permitted to raise its head in your world.

But, when Daddy is not home in your life, little boy had better be quiet and behave himself.

We preach and declare boldly in the name of the LORD; we praise Him with confidence, because our God is great, and His greatness is unsearchable.

Everyone shall produce after his kind.

It takes a mother elephant 20-22 months to birth a baby. She does not go through all that to produce a dog.
No! When the baby elephant is born, he takes after his parents.

When you are the offspring of God, you resemble Him.
Because you walk in the order of this great God, you become a mystery to your world.
No mystic power has what it takes to search out the source, or depth of your unsearchable greatness.

…And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible act: and I will declare thy greatness.

Brethren, for too long, you have seen wicked personalities display and declare the greatness of devils in your world.

Well, God put you in that place to declare His unsearchable greatness.
It is time to rise up to that mandate.

Let it be known that you are called for this purpose; and you intend to do just that.

It is not enough to speak of His acts. Others can be content with that.
Not you. You are called to declare Him- His unsearchable greatness.
Therefore, what oppressed your fathers must not oppress you any longer.

The kings on the other side of Jordan trembled when they heard that Israel had crossed over the overflowing river Jordan, without a ship, boat, or ark.
They knew that was a great and unsearchable feat, and their hearts melted.

You need to become like Israel- an unstoppable mystery. You must exceed the level where others in your world stopped, in every area of life; you must do what they know is impossible by the capacity of man.

Receive the capacity, to declare His greatness in your marriage, business, ministry, territory.

In order to do this, you must go deeper in God. Understand that there is a realm in God that is searchable.
You do not want to stay at that realm.
No. You must go deeper; into the place where no vulture has been, to that realm where the wonders of God are revealed and displayed.

Ps 77: 19
Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known

God has a way in the seas.
He took Israel through His path in the great waters of Jordan. However, His footsteps are not known.

No matter how great the trouble before you, know that God is not surprised by it; and He has a way there, through which you can escape.

The thing you must do is look for His footsteps.
No one can claim to know His steps in the waters.
They can only be revealed.

So, you ask Him to show them to you; to command you on what you must do to walk in His path.
When He shows you, be wise and obey.

The Egyptians did not understand this mystery. They thought to follow Israel through the Red Sea, thinking they knew the way of God; but alas for them, they did not know His footsteps.

Daniel displayed the unsearchable greatness of God in the idol- thick land of Babylon, such that he was called the master of magicians.
Brethren, there is a depth of God that is unsearchable. When you operate at that realm, you live an unbeatable, unstoppable, limitless life, forever declaring the greatness of your God.

PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Unsearchable power, wisdom, fire of God, take over my life.
Unsearchable Spirit, realm of God, possess me.
I receive the capacity to declare the unsearchable greatness of God in my world.
Any power trying to calculate my life; you are a liar. Be frustrated by fire.
Any negative power, showcasing his greatness around my life; you are a liar. I terminate you by fire.
Any negative power, searching tirelessly to get at me; I terminate you by fire.

UNDERSTANDING THE REFINER’S MYSTERY
REFERENCES: ROMANS 15: 15-16, MALACHI 3: 1-5, PROVERBS 27:21, ISAIAH 43: 21, ISAIAH60:2-3

The Refiner is a Person. He is the Holy Ghost, and He works His work of refining lives through us.
Therefore, when we say the Refiner’s Place Ministries, we are talking about the place where the Refiner works to transform the lives of men, the physical refiners.

As a refiner, there is a need to understand your assignment; to appreciate the reason why we do the things that we do.

Without this understanding, it is possible for someone to have been coming to this ministry for a long time, without enjoying the blessings of the covenant.

Rom 15: 15-16
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God. That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

You cannot give what you do not have; and you cannot have what is not given to you.
You cannot dispense grace until it is given to you. You cannot refine lives until you have been refined by the Holy Spirit. You can only set the standard that you have received from God.

As a refiner, I am called to minister Jesus Christ, that is, to transmit, not just Jesus, but the Jesus Christ to you.

Anyone can answer the name Jesus. However, the One you are called to transmit is Jesus Christ- the Anointed.

You cannot transmit the anointing you do not have. Therefore, in order to execute the refiner’s mandate, you must be anointed.

You cannot come to this ministry and expect it to be a place of social interactions; it is not a place where nominal praise, bible reading and powerless prayers are celebrated; it is not an alternative to clubs and associations.
The anointing is paramount, because it is one of the focus of our mandate- to transmit the anointed word of God.

The second mandate is to minister the good news of God. Again, you can only do so, when you have heard the good news yourself.

Therefore, it is not enough to have bible readings. Being articulate and charismatic is not the focus of the mandate. It is not enough to give the people the word of God.

Anyone can speak the word of God; even the devil. The focus is to feed the people with the word from God; the timely word for the hour; to broadcast what God is saying at this time.

What is the purpose of all these? It is to make the people acceptable to God.

The Gentiles needed this man.
You need a refiner.
God will not come down physically to transform your life. Instead, He sends a man to minister anointed words, and new things from Him to the people.

The refiner will only succeed in that assignment when his words are endorsed by the Holy Ghost. This means that, if the words he speaks are not backed up by the Holy Ghost, they did not come from God.

The power of God will endorse the words that proceed from the throne of grace; the words that reveal the mind of God.

That is why you are told to come as you are; that is fine. However, to remain that way is an insult against divinity, because it is our responsibility to refine your life.

Like gold, your true value will never be seen, and appreciated, until you are refined. Therefore, while you can come in as a lump of raw gold; covered up in traditions, religion, immorality, the occult, alcoholism, depravity; you shall be refined, transformed and made extremely valuable. You must be ready to submit to the process, letting go of the dross of your past. Then you will become acceptable to God.

When you are acceptable to God, your world, situations and circumstances will bow to you. However, when a man is not acceptable to God, devils, situations, people and challenges will walk all over him…

Mal 3: 1-5
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

The messenger is sent to prepare the way for someone else.
Jesus sent the disciples in twos to places He was to visit later.

Brethren, whenever God sends a man to you, it is to herald and prepare you for His coming.

Therefore, no one is permitted to be a god over your life. The refiner is merely a messenger sent by God to prepare the way for Him to be your friend.

You are prepared, cultured according to the Word, so that you can receive Him as your friend.
Once the way is prepared, God will come to you.

Every messenger of God is a covenant carrier.

But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap

The messenger carries two things: fire and soap. This is because, while there are those who need to be refined by fire, others need washing. There are yet others that need both refining by fire, and the washing.

The challenge many Christians face, is that of adjusting to the truth. Many are still stuck in the teachings of the past. Therefore, they are baffled, and sometimes offended by what they hear from the altar. Therefore, they struggle with the refining work of the messenger.
Some struggle to stay awake when the word is preached, but they will pray vigorously for hours.
Others enjoy the word, but will wonder at the idea of prayer that is energetic and warlike.

and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver

The vision is for every member of this ministry to sit as a refiner over his household.

Your household is crude, hidden under layers of demonic attachments. It is waiting to be refined and purified; to be declared as valuable.
You are the refiner, sent to refine and purify them.

That is why we prepare you for the assignment; sometimes having to go in harder, and deeper to take away the dross from your life, and to scrub the hardened layers of dirt off you.

and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

The focus of God is to purify the leaders first; so that they may minister in righteousness. Remember that you transmit what you have been given. It also means that the people will feed on what they are given.

Whatever the pastor, Sunday school teacher, choir minister transmit is what the congregation will feed on, and live by.
If they minister righteousness, the people will offer up righteous lives to God.

If they minister error, limitation will take over the lives of the people, and they will offer up corrupt lives to God.

Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

This is the reason for God’s focus on the leaders. When they transmit righteousness to the people, their offering will be pleasing to God. They will be acceptable before Him because their lives and substance are products of righteousness.

When your life is pleasing to God, He will also please you. He will make all things work for your good, and woe betide those who hate you.

To those whose lives do not please God, note that trying to win Him over with fasting, prayers and giving will not work. As long as you live in unrighteousness, nothing you offer up to Him will be acceptable. Your life does not please Him; how then will He please you?

Consider that the value placed on crude oil is lower than that placed on its refined counterpart.

God wants to increase your value; and thereby increase your price.

You have been harassed, afflicted and oppressed by devils for so long because your value has not changed. Nothing has changed in your life.

Once it does; when you are cultured in the way of Christ; you will be accorded the fear and respect that your new value demands.

And I will come near to you to judgement, and I will be a swift witness…

A witness here is someone who testifies to what someone else is saying. This means that you have to say something for Him to
Bear witness to. That is why we encourage you to say the right thing in the Word and in prayer.

He will testify against these five sets of personalities.

…against the sorcerers

Sorcerers are those who practice witchcraft. You are called to deal with their ways, for they desire to manipulate and impose their will on lives and destinies. These are the powers that want to determine how your life will go.
When you are refined, you receive capacity to declare that they cannot limit you in destiny; and God will say ‘yes’.

…and against the adulterers

These are idolaters. They come to church, but in secret, they bow to strange gods. Under the guise of being prophets, they have declared evil judgement against the lives, marriages and destinies of many.

…and against false swearers

These are the hypocrites, found in the house of God. They claim to have received revelations from God for you, when in truth, they are false swearers.

…and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless

These are oppressors. They allow you to work hard, but do not allow you to enjoy your harvest, because they waste your wealth.

…and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

These are hijackers. They are those, who specialise in declaring that you are not permitted to receive what God has appointed for you, because you are a stranger to that blessing.

Their claim is that no one in your household, in your world, has achieved that blessing. Therefore, you must not access it.

When you say the right things, the Holy Ghost will testify for you. In doing so, He will testify against those that you are called to destroy.
When you are cultured in God, and refined, God will come to you. When He does, He will bear witness with you, against these five personalities.

Pro 27:21
As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.

The praise of every man is inside him.
There is a divine endowment in your soul; but this has been covered up by the dross of this world.

As the fining pot, and furnace, so is this man for you.
These did not create the precious metals, but they had the mandate to bring out the beauty and value of the metals.

As fire refines gold, every man and woman under this mandate is called to bring forth the praise that has been lying low inside you.

When you begin to shine, God takes all the glory. The divine mission is accomplished.

Brethren, there is a man sent to you. His mandate is to scrub, wash, refine your life.
He is convinced that there is more to you than what can now be seen; and he knows that, until your true praise comes out, your value will not change.
If the value does not change, the price will remain the same.

You must therefore be ready to endure the purging process. It will be painful, but the gain is indisputable.
Allow the man to scrub your mind, your perceptions, your soul. Submit to the increase of your mental capacity, your ability to see, hear, and understand better…
Endure the refiner’s fire
Suffer through the fuller’s washing.
When it is all done, your value will increase; and so will your price.

Isa 43: 21
This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

The people I formed for Myself, that they may set forth My praise [and they shall do it] [AMP]

The devil did not form you. Witchcraft did not form you.
God formed you; and He did so for Himself.

The devil might have smuggled witchcraft into your life; but when you endure the refiner’s fire, it will all be burnt away.

God formed you to manifest His praise.
Your praise is God’s praise, lying inside you.
It will be revealed when you are refined.

When it is revealed, men will ask you how you became this new person. Then, you can declare unto them, ‘I was refined, and His praise was revealed in me’.

Isa 60:2-3
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

It does not matter how thick the darkness is; what matters is this: that the LORD rise upon you, that His glory is revealed upon your life.

This is the purpose for the refiner’s fire. It prepares you to receive the presence and glory of God upon your life.

Therefore, do not magnify darkness. No matter how thick it is, it is no match for the light. Thus, God called light out of darkness, and darkness could do no more than open up his mouth, astonished and confounded.

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

They shall come to you. Men shall seek you out when they see your light, and the brightness of your rising.

This will be your reality when your life has been cultured by the Word.
Then, your value will change.
Then, your price will increase.

PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Fire to rise in glory; take over my life.
My life, receive sufficient power to showcase God’s power and praise.
Witchcraft powers, against my life; be wasted by fire.
Any waster over my harvest; I waste you by fire.
Any power that makes my life a stranger to the blessing of God; you are a liar. Be wasted by fire.
Any work of witchcraft over my life; I clear you out by fire.
Satanic system that interrupts the blessing of God against my life; I damage and destroy you by fire.
Holy Ghost, fill me up again.

UNDERSTANDING THE REFINER’S MANDATE: CAUSING TRANSITION IN LIFE IN CHRIST (B)

PASTOR’S CORNER
UNDERSTANDING THE REFINER’S MANDATE
CAUSING TRANSITION IN LIFE IN CHRIST (B)
REFERENCES:  MATTHEW 4: 18-19, ACTS 4: 13-20

Matt 4: 18-19
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

At the time Jesus encountered these two men, they were fishermen.

In the same way, you also had an encounter with the covenant carrier of this ministry; you either met him, or he met you.
At the time of that encounter, what were you?

At the time of that encounter, there was an assignment given to him concerning your life; and as many as have followed him can testify that, since the journey began, their lives have not remained the same.

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

These fishermen followed Jesus because of what they had heard. There was something He said to them- to make them what no one believed they could ever be; to change their lives, reasoning, perceptions, business; as long as they followed Him- that made them leave with Him.

Everything Jesus said to these men, was what God said to His disciple in the Old Testament.
He appeared to Abram and said to him: follow Me, and I will make your name great.

God is saying the same to you: follow me, and I will change the state of your business, I will change your lifestyle, I will make you become what no one thought you could ever be.
He is saying the same to you: Follow Me, and I will transform your life. I will make you who you truly are.
There is something that your world has always known you for. When I am through with you, they will no longer be able to describe you- you will become a mystery and a testimony to your world.
When you follow me, I will perform a surgical intervention in your life. Things that matter to you now, will no longer matter. I will give you a new name.

The men followed Jesus because they believed that The Man who called them had the capacity to make them what they were not at that time. However, they left their boats and nets behind.

This is something important for you to consider.
Have you left all? Are you ready to leave all?

You must drop all that you used to trust in- your knowledge and skill base.
Put whatever you think you know aside, so that you can receive all that God has for you.
These old things have hindered you from becoming what God has called you to be.
Until you let them go, you will not become who God has called you to be.
Drop your knowledge, skills, qualifications, years of experience. Drop those old things, that have become a stronghold in your life and have prevented you from becoming what God wants you to be.

If you follow Him with your net, He will not be able to do all He has determined to do in your life. He will be hindered in making you the man.
This means that one can follow Jesus, and not become all that He said he will be in life.
That is why you can come to a ministry such as this, hear the undiluted word of God, and find that your life has not transformed. The question to ask yourself is: have I left all?

They journeyed with Jesus. But, their transformation from who they were, to who they were meant to be did not happen in a day. It was a gradual process.

Brethren, be encouraged. If you have been following, but it seems nothing has changed, know that it is a lie, for it is impossible to be in the fire and remain the same.
God is working. He is working on your life, on your body, marriage, business; He is working out your transformation.

This was the basis of Peter’s question to Jesus. Lord, we have left all to follow you. What will be our reward? (Mk 10:28)

You may be asking the same question.
I have left all to follow the covenant of God in TRPM. What is my reward? Why is my life still the same? When will my life move forward? Where is the academic admission I desire, the marriage I have been waiting for, the children I have been expecting, the breakthrough I have been praying for?

Jesus answered His disciples: You shall have 100%. (Mk 10:29-30)
Be assured that there is a reward for you; that your transformation is sure.
Your coming here, and your labour shall not be in vain.

Everyone has a net- a mindset, perception, stronghold- they must leave behind to follow the covenant of God.
No one drops his net, and follows, without having something to testify about.

Do your part. Follow the covenant, wholly. Trust the integrity of God and leave the rest to Him.
You shall be refined.

Transition is a reflection. It is process of fellowship, which brings resemblance.
Therefore, before He left, the lives of the man reflected the new power, wisdom and glory of Jesus.

Acts 4: 13-20
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

At this time, Jesus had risen from the dead and ascended into heavens. Yet men could see Him in the lives of the disciples because they reflected Him.
The same thing happened to Jesus.
When the Pharisees hear Jesus speaking in the temple, they questioned the source of His knowledge and wisdom. (Matt 13:54-56)

The men who wondered at the boldness of Peter and John, had known the men they used to be. They had known them as mediocre no-bodies, but they could now see that their lives had been transformed.

Brethren, it is ok for you to come to the presence of God as you are. It is however an insult against divinity for you to remain the way you are. You cannot continue in your mess.

The transformation in the lives of Peter and John caused the people to marvel; and they had to testify that they had been with Jesus.

Brethren, how can you be connected to this commission, and your life is still the same?
The Word is being planted in you, so that your life will disappoint evil plans in your life, and manifest divine reality.
Therefore, you have no excuse to not succeed in life.

When men see you, they know your source. If your life has failed to display God, it means that there is still much work to be done over your life.

And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

Brethren, this is what happens when your life astounds people. When people behold the houses they thought you could never build, when they see the children they said you could never have, when they hear about the promotion no one thought a man like you could get; when they see that blessing standing beside you, they become speechless.
The evidence will leave them speechless.

But when they commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, Saying, What shall we do to these men? For that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

Brethren, men speak carelessly to you because they have not seen something notable.
O! I pray for you, that your life and destiny will produce notable blessings, breakthroughs and miracles, in the name of Jesus.

But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

There is however a fight you must contend with, and overcome. These men could not deny the display of God in the lives of the disciples; but they sought to stop it from happening again.

There are evil personalities holding emergency meetings over your life; they are consulting on how to stop your next building project, your next childbirth, your next promotion. They are asking one question: how do we make sure it spreads no further?

Their agenda must fail. Your blessing must continue.
This is the fight. You fight to ensure that the agenda of God for your marriage, business, ministry, children must continue.

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Peter and John were summoned, and an evil judgement was passed over their lives and assignment. But these men knew how to answer.

Many Christians cry because they have no answer when evil comes calling.

Be ready to speak against every evil judgement against you. This is why you must study, that you may know how to answer, and silence the evil words of the wicked.

I cannot stop.
The enemy wants to stop you by quenching the fire of prayer, of the Word, of divine fellowship in your life; but you have access to the unquenchable fire of God. Wield it.

Let this be your battle cry. Nothing must be able to stop you, because, no matter what you already have, you are yet to start.

Brethren, there is more to you than what you are right now.
Therefore, be diligent to obey the covenant of God completely. Do not haggle with God, so that all He wants to achieve in you will become a reality.

PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Unquenchable fire of God, possess my life.
Any agent of darkness, that has vowed to deal with me; you are a liar. Die by fire.
Any evil plan, to scatter my life; you are a liar. I scatter you by fire now.

ACCESSING THE PERFECT BLESSING IN CHRIST:

THE POWER OF THE CROSS

REFERENCES: JOHN 11:47-53, GALATIANS 3: 13, I CORINTHIANS 1:17-18, II CORINTHIANS 13: 3-5

Jn 11:47-53

Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

The death of Christ was on purpose, and for a purpose.

In John 16:7, Jesus tells His disciples that it is expedient- to their advantage- that He goes away. Caiaphas, the high priest, is here prophesying to the same truth: Christ must die, for a purpose.

His death was not only to save the nation of Israel, BUT also to gather in one all the children of God that are scattered all around the world, including those in Nigeria.

This means that the mystery at work in the favour of Israel is also at work in your life. Israel prospers, you also will prosper.

Understand this: As one of the gathered of the Lord, your life should be mystery to your world. They might see you as small- like the size of Israel- but they will acknowledge that it is a dangerous thing for them to be against you, and a blessed thing for them to be for you.

There was something upon the head of Joseph that made his master testify that, his house had been blessed because Joseph was in it, so much so that he made the lad overseer of his entire house.

There was something upon the head of Jacob that made his diabolical father-in-law, acknowledge that he had been blessed because of Jacob’s presence in his household.

Gal 3:13-14

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

No man hangs and dies on the Cross, without having been led and put there.

It is written that no curse is permitted to rest upon anyone without a cause (Pro 26: 2). Since the scripture cannot be broken, what legal reason did the curse have to rest upon the Righteous? Where did he receive power to come upon Jesus?

When Jesus came into the world, He was pointed to, as the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world, (Jn 1:29); and He did not dispute it.

He also declared that a good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep. (Jn 10:11)

As a good Shepherd therefore, He laid down His life for his flock, bearing the sins of the people in His body (Isa 53:4, 12; I Pet 2:24). When He did this, curse found a legal leg to stand on; Curse came and rested upon Him, rather than on us.

Now, when your sins and iniquities have been borne by someone else, that person has taken it upon himself to pay the price for those sins.

If anyone decides to make you suffer torment over the same sins, that person is violating divine principles.

This means that no one in Christ should ever again suffer torment, affliction or oppression; he should never again be a victim of the curse, because the sin, that was its justification for resting upon him, has been borne by Christ.

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

He took away sin, so that the blessing of God will come upon us, unaffected, unhindered by sin.

If this is the truth; and IT IS THE TRUTH, why then do Christians still suffer despite the Cross? Why do evil covenants, and ancestral patterns still contend with the perfect blessings of God’s children?

I Cor 1: 17-18

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

The reason why many Christians do not enjoy the reality of this divine exchange, in spite of the sacrifice of the Good Shepherd, is because the gospel, the message of the Cross, is being preached with the wisdom of words.

God warned Paul about the danger of doing this: when the Good news is preached with the wisdom of men, the power of the Cross of Christ is deflated. It loses its ability to overcome evil, and claim for God’s children, their perfect blessings.

Brethren, the Cross is powerful, but when it is preached as an exercise in oration or as a display of one’s wealth of vocabulary, the power thereof is rendered ineffective. It wants to show itself alive in you, but it cannot.

For the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

The preaching of the Cross means different things to different people. To the saved, it is the display of the power of God.

Your access to perfect blessings in Christ is by the Cross.

On the Cross, poverty, affliction, powerlessness, failure, witchcraft power... died.

Every legal ground of the enemy against your life died on the Cross.

Every evil law against your life was terminated on the Cross.

Your claim to perfect blessing is because of the divine exchange that transpired on the Cross.

Your sin for His righteousness;

Your weakness for His power;

Your poverty for His wealth;

Your shame for His glory;

Your limitation for His limitless capacity...

It all happened on the Cross.

II Cor 13: 3

Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.

A proof is evidence that something else exists.

Yeast is invisible in bread, but the rising of the dough is proof of its presence and potency.

When you prosper where others fail, it is proof that there is a mystery behind your prosperity.

When your life reflects the presence and potency of the Cross, men will look to you, to know how to access that same mystery.

Taking apart a radio set does not give you access to the voice within it. The radio set has been designed and wired to carry voice waves and project them- it has been made to speak.

This is the testimony of the saved in Christ.

His destiny has been wired to prosper and have good success, in the midst of a crooked world. Looking to know what makes him successful is to want to know what is in the ‘gramaphone’ [gramophone].

Jesus compares the Kingdom to ‘yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough’ (Matt 13:33 [NIV]). The yeast speaks in the dough, and displays its might in it.

Paul observed his life and said, ‘there is proof of Christ speaking in me’.

You also need to examine your life. What proof is speaking in you?

If there is any proof of ancestral flow speaking in your health, business, marriage, children, ministry, career; it is time cast them out.

Whatever confirms the presence and power of evil powers over your life is a proof, and it is speaking. It is speaking to get your attention, to remind you that they are still significant in story of your life. When you discover that you struggle at what others prosper in; you suffer in your body, marriage, career, business...

These come to celebrate their power over your life.

They taunt you, showing you how they frustrate what God says you will get, and instead, make sure you get what they say you will get.

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

His righteousness fortified us.

Christ died in weakness, transferring His strength to you and I.

When He bore our sin, it weakened Him; in turn, He gave us His righteousness and His strength.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Examine yourself.

You need to know yourself; how much of Christ is in you? What is the depth of Christ in you? How deep is His fire, power, wisdom, knowledge, zeal...in you? The depth determines whether men will see the proof of a mighty working Christ speaking in you.

The proof of Christ in Paul was mighty; and the same Christ is mighty in you.

If men cannot see that same proof- of His wisdom, power and presence- in what you do, it means that the level of Christ in you is weak.

What do you do with the life you have been given? What investment of time, study, prayer, meditation and sacrifice are you working to leave behind for the next generation?

It is time to kill off normal Christianity.

You need to get to a point where people cannot but testify that you are an abnormal, unusual person in Christ. It is time to become an unexplainable phenomenon in your generation, even in the Kingdom of God.

Let the proof of Christ in you speak loudly, full of might and power.

You are a son of God; you are unstoppable.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Fire of God, show Yourself alive in my life, deeper than this.
  • Undeniable power of God; appear in my life. Show Yourself alive in me.
  • Any proof of ancestral hands over my life; your time has expired. I terminate you by fire now.
  • Any proof of ancestral judgement standing against my progress; I erase you by fire.
  • Any proof of evil declaration against my life; I erase and terminate you by fire.
  • My Father, showcase Your undeniable power in my life.

ACCESSING THE PERFECT BLESSING IN CHRIST: THE POWER OF A LIBERAL SOUL

PASTOR’S CORNER

ACCESSING THE PERFECT BLESSING IN CHRIST:

THE POWER OF A LIBERAL SOUL

REFERENCES: PROVERBS 11:25, GALATIANS 6:2, ESTHER 10: 3, HEB 10:5-7, ROMANS 15:2-3, PHILIPPIANS 2:5-9

Being liberal is not limited to, and therefore should not be judged simply as philanthropy.

A soul is liberal when it is burdened with the desire for change- positive transformation- in the lives of others.

Pro 11:25

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

This soul is not yet fat; but it is liberal.

True prosperity and greatness comes to those who are liberal. As long as the soul is liberal, God has a responsibility to make it fat.

When you see a problem in your world, and are gripped with a burning desire to be the solution- the desire to put an end to poverty, limitation, oppression- you are a liberal soul.

Moses was not suffering in Egypt; he was living at the height of affluence and influence in the most powerful nation at that time. However, he was burdened, and fired up, by the suffering of his people.

No wonder his soul was made fat...

A liberal soul does not go with the flow. He does not mindlessly follow the order he meets on ground. No. Rather, he is appalled by mediocrity and limitation, and is driven to enthrone excellence and true liberty in his world.

When your soul can sense that there is something missing, lacking somewhere; when your soul cannot accept the way things are as the best there is; when you are vexed within you by the suffering of others; you are a liberal soul.

When your soul roars within you, and you wonder at the drought of the display of God- His mighty power to save, heal, deliver, restore, transform, bless- in your generation; you are liberal soul.

Have you ever come across a man who ascribes the height of his success to the sacrifice of his poor, uneducated mother? As he introduces her, he tells you how she sold small items, and saved to send him to school.

That is an example of a liberal soul; a parent whose soul is filled with the passion to see her children reach heights that their parents were unable to reach. Such parents will be blessed by the LORD for the fulfilment of that purpose.

Gal 6:2

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Christ has a law.

When you seek the good of others, interceding for their liberty and prosperity, God will in turn fill you up. As you water the lives of others, God will in turn water you. You cannot run dry; you cannot go lean.

This is the law of Christ.

Consider Jesus. (Phil 2:5)

He was rich, but He became poor, so that, through His poverty, you can become rich. (II Cor 8:2)

He was the most powerful being ever; yet for your sake, He laid down His strength and allowed Himself to be led like a lamb to the slaughter. He became weak so that you can become powerful. (Rom 5:6)

He did not commit any sin, yet He became sin so that you can become the righteousness of Christ. (II Cor 5:21)

Esth 10: 3

For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.

Mordecai’s greatness was an outflow of his liberal soul. He did not use his relationship with Esther to enrich his pocket or advance his own personal agenda.

Whatever evil was purposed against Israel, Haman could not have executed that plan against Mordecai at the gate of the king’s palace, nor against Esther in the king’s palace.

Yet, Mordecai sought the wealth- safety, deliverance and renown- of the people, charging Esther to use her position for the same purpose.

By doing this, he fulfilled the law of Christ.

Consider Christ again.

Christ did not die for His sins.

The sacrifice of bulls and goats was offered by man to God. When Christ saw that this did not bring God pleasure, He offered Himself instead.

Heb 10:5-7

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come...to do thy will, O God.

Christ did not have to do this. He had no sin to pay for; and since man was the one offering animals to God, man should have been the one to offer the pleasurable sacrifice as well.

Yet, He became man, and gave His body and blood to God, as the best, for His pleasure.

In seeking the wealth of the people, Mordecai fulfilled the law of Christ.

And, as a liberal soul, he was made fat.

He became next in command to the king, not because he sought the position, but because he desired the wealth of the people.

How then could the specially packaged plan of death against him succeed? It backfired on Haman, because he who waters- seeking the life, growth and wealth of others- will also be watered.

Rom 15:2-3

Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Everything you do in the kingdom should be for the good of the brethren.

We must be conscious that our work in the kingdom must do good to those it affects. We must also be conscious of building up men with our choices and doings.

Paul spoke in more tongues than anyone; yet he prayed in his understanding as well, so that he did not leave anyone confused. (I Cor 14)

For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” (NIV)

This is the summary of my life.

You need to get to a point where you are incensed against any manifestation of the work of darkness in your life and in your world.

How can it be, that those who walk in the darkness of sin are making success, and you, in the Kingdom of God, experience stagnation, limitation and failures?

Where is the manifestation of your good success?

When you check the lives of the unbelievers in your world, and you see them succeeding while the Christians struggle, do not wait for anyone to tell you to get up, work and fight. You cannot afford to be gentle about the matter.

This is the picture you must consider.

Whatever mocks the Christians in your world is insulting God through them.

When an evil power succeeds in limiting a Christian, thus denying him his divine inheritance, that personality is indirectly reproaching God. That evil is saying, ‘if your God is big and powerful enough, let Him come and save you.’

When Jesus saw the reproaches that fell on God through His children, He did not stand back and let it continue.

Instead, He took the reproach upon Himself. He was saying, ‘Father, do not bother about these insults. I will go and take care of them for You.’

When a devil boasts against a Christian, with threats of limitation and frustration; showing through signs that he has dominion and authority over that Christian, what he is really doing is telling God that He does not what it takes to deliver His own.

Take a moment to imagine the magnitude of that insult...

Jesus says, ‘I came into the world for this purpose; to take away the insults that come to God through the lives of His children.’

Phil 2:5-9

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This was why He came, offering Himself up in place of the bulls and the goats.

For this reason, He took the form of a man, and humbled Himself in obedience, to the point of death on the cross.

He gave Himself to God for us. In accordance with the law therefore, God also made His name fat, giving Him a name that is above every other name.

This is why no one can call on the Father without calling on the name of Jesus.

No one can challenge the power imputed in that Name, because it is a consequence of a supernatural law.

Whoever else will fulfil the law of Christ; seeking the wealth of the children of the Kingdom, fighting for the transformation of the Church of God; heaven will also make him fat- in knowledge, wisdom, mysteries, revelations, and power.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, touch my soul with Your fire, and make my soul a blessing.
  • My life, receive divine capacity to terminate insults.
  • Raw power of God, to terminate insults in my world; I call you into my life.
  • Any evil power insulting God in my life; I terminate by fire.
  • Any insult, that has come upon the works of my hands; I terminate and destroy you by fire.
  • Any ancestral insult against God through me; i terminate and destroy you now.
  • Any arrow of darkness fired at me to insult God; I fire you back.

ACCESSING THE PERFECT BLESSING IN CHRIST: DEMANDS PERFECT KNOWLEDGE (B)

ACCESSING THE PERFECT BLESSING IN CHRIST DEMANDS PERFECT KNOWLEDGE (B)

REFERENCES: I JOHN 5:4-5, I PETERT 1: 23-25, JAMES 1: 9-11, PSALM 121: 6-8

I Jn 5:4-5

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Things can be born again.

The writer was not mistaken in his choice of words.

The ark of God was made of shittim wood and overlaid with gold. However, when it was dedicated to the LORD, it became most holy. (Lev 27:28)

However, there is an order. A thing can only be born of God when its owner is born again. In the Word, we learn of the earnest expectation of the creation; that they wait for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Rom 8:19)

So, whatsoever can only be born of God, when whosoever owns it is born again.

You can deliver your business, career, marriage, body, properties and investments from captivity and satanic intrusions by dedicating them to God.

That thing that is born of God overcomes the world. It overcomes witchcraft, territorial limitations, and even its competition.

Job says, I will fetch knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker, for truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee (Job 36: 3-4)

Without divine knowledge, whatever other knowledge you amass is imperfect.

However, when you also seek the knowledge that is from above, in addition to your earthly knowledge, you will have perfect knowledge.

I Pet 1: 23-25

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

A person or thing is born again by the Word of God. You can therefore dedicate your business to God by speaking His word to it.

Now, whatever is born of the Word overcomes the world, because the Word will abide with it forever.

As a business person, the Word you speak to your products will remain with them, long after they are sold. Wherever they go, there will be a marked difference between them and the competition.

As the source of your life, career, business... the Word will also sustain it. This means that it is not permitted to go down. How can it, when it is being sustained by the ever living and ever abiding Word.

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

Whatever is not born of the Word cannot boast of living and abiding forever. Rather, it is like grass; here this day, withered and dead the next.

How then can it be, that an unbeliever prospers in the same thing that you do, and you- who are born of the Word- struggle and complain?

If this is your experience, you are disappointment to God. It is time to wake up and correct that story.

The works of your hands will not die. This must be your conscious confession. This must be your daily fight. Your marriage, career, business, ministry will not die. It must live and abide forever- outlasting contemporary ideas and trends, territorial limitations, and financial crisis, and the systems of the world.

Remember that the man determines the state of what he owns.

The man is as grass, while all his glory (his works) is as flower. Whatsoever he has will cease to exist because he will perish...

The folly of man is revealed in the confidence and trust he places in his wealth. Sadly, this folly has found its way into the Church, where a man’s wealth determines his seating position and standing. Men are made benefactors of ministries because of their financial net worth.

The Bible declares the glory of such is the flower of grass. The man withers, and his glory follows on the deathly path.

This means that the enemy attacks the man before the glory. When the man falls, his works go down with him.

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

O, but the man who has the Word; who has been born of the Word endures, forever. He can never go down; and as long as he endures, all his glory endures with him.

That is why we celebrate the Word. The Word endures and abides forever. Therefore, the glory- the wealth, success, prosperity- you get by the Word abides forever.

Why does the grass as well as its flower wither? Why do men fall, and their glory with them. Why is the enemy able to cut people down, and their glory with them?

The same devil was around in the days of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David and Solomon. Why was he not able to do to them what he does to others?

Brethren, it is time to judge by the Word.

No matter how wealthy you are, you are not rich until you are rich in the Word of God.

If you have millions, nay billions in your account, but are poor in the Word of God; you are wretched (Rev 3:17). Your wealth cannot be sustained. Without the counsel and power of God, it will develop wings and fly away.

Jas 1: 9-11

Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

The poor man rejoices because he is blessed with spiritual blessings in heavenly places. His true state is not determined by the perceptions and expectations of men. He understands that, as he works to get more of God, he is truly exalted.

But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

The rich also rejoices, because he is made low. That may seem like misspeak, but it is the Truth.

That rich man, who does not deem it as beneath him to sit where others sit in the House of God, and to pray as others pray, is blessed. He understands that, in doing these, his blessings are sustained.

He understands that the blessing is not perfect without the divine fire and power to preserve and sustain it.

Affluence and influence do not have the capacity to sustain a man; if he fails to yield to God and humble himself, he and his wealth will pass away.

For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

There are lights: the sun and the moon, with the sun being the greater.

Unlike the moon, the sun does not tolerate darkness at all; and while men can approach and observe the moon from close proximity, they would not dare the same with the sun.

Of the two, the sun is the light with the heat intensity to dry up and kill plants.

These two lights represent two kinds of personalities in the realm of the spirit: those as powerful as the sun, and those who are like the moon; and they exist both in the kingdom of God and in the kingdom of darkness.

The rich man, who fails to rejoice in humility, is brought down from the place of wealth by strong evil personalities- who are like the sun. They are the ones with the power to render a man ineffective, and completely destroy any trace that he was once wealthy.

That sun is a strong evil personality who released a judgement over his blessing; and the prosperity went down.

He is able to bring the rich man down because he did not humble himself to receive the living and ever abiding Word, by which he and all his glory would have overcome the scorching attack against them.

Whatever can only be born of God if its owner is born of God.

Brethren, your career, business... is waiting for you. The fate of that creation is determined by you. You decide, by your choices, whether they are set free from bondage, and endure forever; or they wallow in captivity.

Nothing falls until there is a force applied to it.

No glory falls until an evil judgement, curse, spell or decree comes upon it. Whether it be your career, marriage, business, health...they only go down because a force is attacking you, to attack your whatever.

When this happens, be wise. Your help is not in the ability of man.

Speak first to your own life; command your life to get up, because, once you do get up, your career, marriage, business, health...will get up as well.

Be born again now. That is beginning of the journey, for only a man who is born of God can dedicate his whatsoever to God.

How do you become born again?

Say, ‘Jesus, I believe You came to the world; You died on the cross for me; and You rose again to be my Lord forever. Because of my sins, You were crucified. Therefore, I will no longer live in my sin. I give You my life. Be the Saviour and Lord of my life. Forever, I will live for You.’

When you make this prayer of dedication, you are saying that you will no longer live for yourself, but for Him. You will no longer celebrate sin, while pretending to be holy.

The sun is coming to everyone; born again or not.

The sun is coming, to hit both the grass and its flower.

However, for those born of God, our lives and glory live and abide forever, because they are born of God.

Ps 121: 6-8

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm- He will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (NIV)

The sun- that strong evil power- is capable of ending the lives of men. However, its capacity is rendered useless over your life once you are born of God.

The LORD preserves you because you are born of His Word. That Word lives and abides to preserve you, forever.

The Word takes His job seriously.

Even while you sleep, the Word keeps watch. He never sleeps or slumbers.

Without the LORD, the sun will harm you. However, because you are dedicated to Him, He is also dedicated to keeping and preserving you from ALL harm- whether it is against your body, finances, career, marriage, business, ministry...

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, I rededicate my life to You.
  • Raw fire of God, possess my life.
  • Raw fire of God, that cannot be harmed; I call you into my hands, into the works of my hands.
  • Any wicked power that has vowed to harm me; you are a liar. I smite you by fire.
  • I declare: the works of my hands will not fall to any evil power.
  • Whatever is sent to frustrate the works of my hands; I cast you out by fire.
  • Any strong man in my household that strikes glory; over my life, I strike you down by fire.
  • Any strong man in my household that strikes me every year; I strike you down by fire.

UPGRADING YOUR TOTAL MAN IN CHRIST: UPGRADING THROUGH EXERCISE

27TH AUGUST, 2017

PASTOR’S CORNER

UPGRADING YOUR TOTAL MAN IN CHRIST

UPGRADING THROUGH EXERCISE

REFERENCES: ISAIAH 44: 18-20, HEBREWS 5: 12-14, ISAIAH 44: 3-5, HEBREWS 7:14

It is important that you exercise your body, even as you eat well. In the realm of the spirit as well, as you feed your spirit well, you must also exercise it.

In this regard, we can learn from children. They do not sit still after eating. Rather, they jump all about when they have been fed. You can actually tell when their food tank is empty by the change in the pattern of their play.

A hungry child is a quiet child.

God also expects us to exercise with what we have received. After the baptism of the Holy Ghost, Christ went into the wilderness; there, He tamed wild animals so that He could handle the man filled with legion; while David killed a lion and a bear before he handled Goliath.

God will likewise cause certain issues to come your way in order to make you exercise with what you have eaten in His word.

Isa 44: 18-20

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

When a man sits under a teacher that fails to feed him well, it makes one wonder if he cannot see the harm he is doing to his life and destiny.

This is the picture of such a man. First, the enemy shuts his eyes so that he cannot see; and then his heart is shut, so that he cannot understand.

And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

A man who walks in the understanding of this scripture will never again bow to idols.

God is exposing the foolishness of idolatry; that image was not made of a whole material. Part of it was burnt as firewood in some local restaurant; another part was burnt in baking bread, and yet another in roasting meat. This means that the idol is actually made from the remnant of a tree.

The question to consider then is: shall my life, glory and destiny fall before the residue of a tree?

When some personality uses such an image to invoke your glory, you should laugh at their foolishness, and not be afraid. Does that person think your glory is so small that it would fall down to the stock of a tree?

Inasmuch as that image was carved from a tree, or some other material, it is not permitted to claim authority over your life.

However, this understanding is not in everyone.

He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

A man who feeds on junks has his eyes covered. He cannot see or understand well. His heart has been deceived by wrong information, and this turns him away from the truth.

There are those who began their Christian journey in integrity and fidelity. Sadly, under the feeding of ashes, they lost their grip on the truths they once valued.

A deceived heart makes it impossible for a man to consider that he is living a lie. He cannot see, understand, or consider the folly of his ways.

A man who is well fed is capable of delivering his soul. He walks in divine understanding: he will not celebrate lies, nor will he deceive himself. He will consider his life before the mirror of the Word and make necessary adjustments so that he can stand boldly before God and the devil.

Heb 5: 12-14

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

God desires that everyone is skilful. He desires that we rise above the level of immaturity- where one needs milk when he should be feeding on strong meat.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Note the word, belongeth...

Strong power, revelation, authority is not for everyone. Strong meat belongs to those that are spiritually mature; those who exercise their senses.

A man who applies the Word to every area of his life- in his walk with God and other men- is exercising his senses. He brings the Word of God to everything he does. He will not do anything without weighing it by the Word; he considers- is this not a lie in my hands?

Strong meat belongs to such a man.

If you also desire such, apply the Word to your life. Be a doer of the Word, even when it is not convenient.

Isa 44: 3-5

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground...

‘Water’ refers to the word of God. No one can access the mysteries of the Word without a hunger in him. When you do receive the Word, exercise it by applying the revelation to your life.

There are two levels of the Word here- the water and the flood.

Whoever will be filled with the water must thirst for it.  The flood of the Word is a deeper level, and requires a greater level of thirst. It belongs to those who go before God with the understanding that they know nothing. They consider their previous level of knowledge as nothing in order to receive much more from God.

When you discover that you struggle to speak the Word that you have eaten, in the realm of the spirit, it is a sign that your soul is dry. You need to seek the deeper filling of the Word.

I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Notice the order of the pouring: first the Word, then a deeper level of the Word. This is followed by the outpouring of the Spirit. The Disciples of Christ were fed for 3years before the power of the Holy Ghost came upon them.

Next comes the blessing. We serve a God of order. He will not give His blessing without first giving the power to defend the blessing.

And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

When the blessing is poured, the man, the marriage, the ministry, the business, the children, the glory, the works of his hands... will spring up.

One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

A man who already belongs to God will have no need to say again ‘I am the LORD's’. This Word is for that man over whose life a devil is claiming ownership. God is saying to him, ‘thirst after my Word. When I have filled you- with my Word, Spirit and blessing- you will spring up. It will no longer matter what judgement had previously kept you down; you will rise.

Then, when any idol, image, evil personality...challenge your springing up, you will boldly declare that you belong, not to some image or idol, but to the LORD.

Why is this declaration important?

Heb 7:14

For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

You declare that you now belong to the LORD because your springing up is in the order of Christ. Like Him, no prophecy was given concerning your springing up; yet it shall also be said concerning you: he sprang up.

It is time to let the power of your household kknow that your surname has changed. You are no longer bound by the ways of your ancestral background. You have subscribed to the family of God; you are now the LORD’s.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My life and destiny, you belong to the LORD. Therefore, receive fire to spring up.
  • Any ancestral power fighting against my rising in life; you are a liar. I bring you down by fire.

UPGRADING YOUR TOTAL MAN IN CHRIST: UPGRADING BY EATING WELL (B)

UPGRADING YOUR TOTAL MAN IN CHRIST

UPGRADING BY EATING WELL (B)

REFERENCES: HOSEA 12:1, PROVERBS 15:14, ISAIAH 26:17-18, MICAH 7: 14-17

In the first part of this series, we learnt that eating well was necessary for victorious Christian living, because it is not enough to be holy. As a Christian, you must feed well in order to turn the tables on the principalities and powers that have hitherto victimised you, and to enjoy the ministry of angels (Heb 1:14)

Hos 12:1

When God declares that idols have spoken vanity and the diviners have seen a lie (Zech 10:2), understand that the idols have indeed spoken, and the diviners did see something. But God declares that, in His capacity, their words and visions will amount to nothing.

However, to the man who has not fed well and grown to this level of divine capacity, the words and visions of the wicked will prove true, contrary to divine will. Such a Christian will use portions of the scripture but they will appear ineffective, not because the Word lacks power, but because he has not grown enough to access and wield that weapon.

I say this to help you understand the scripture reference above. When the bible uses words like wind, dust, lies...it is referring to different levels of information.

The staying power of your knowledge determines its capacity. Some Christians are holding on to the wind- words that are easily blown away by the pressures of life.

The Christian who will triumph must wield living stones of the Word, for these cannot be blown away by the wind of adversity.

When a church praises and prays, but fails to feed well on the Word, its members will suffer oppression, torment, and loss.

Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation

What a man feeds on determines what he produces. When a men feeds on the wind, he will produce lies and desolation. He will experience regression and loss because he has fed on food that cannot nourish and build him up.

...and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians

They feed on the wind- on lies, and empty words- because their source of information is the world. Today’s Assyrians are represented by comedians peddling lies on the altar of God.

...and oil is carried into Egypt.

The Church now has it upside down; rather than influence the world, she has carried the anointing into the world, and looked to it (the world) to de-stress, motivate, distract and influence the people of God.

Brethren, everyone has a responsibility to judge the substance he is been fed with. Check the content of the messages: how have they affected your thinking, your understanding of God and your destiny; how have they changed your life in line with the will of God?

Pro 15:14

The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.

In the Kingdom, we have knowledge, understanding and wisdom; and move up to more knowledge, understanding and wisdom. This cycle of growth is never-ending.

When a man has an understanding of his present level, he will seek more knowledge to advance- he will question the value of what he receives daily in the face of the tests of life.

However a fool will remain in a place of malnourishment and continue to feed on junks.

Isa 26:17-18

Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD. We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

The image here is of a man pregnant with visions of destiny. He is heavy with his vision to effect a change in his household and generation by the power of God. Picture a woman in the throes of labour. The baby is making to come forth; the lives of mother and child are at a delicate point.

When a Christian is in such a state, he cannot afford to sit in a place where divine substance is not provided. He comes to church to know how to bring forth his vision- to know how to walk, who to walk with, and even how to defend his vision.

We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Sadly, many lament like these men. Like big fishes in small ponds, they have big visions, but have only been fed with junks. Therefore, when they try to bring forth, all that comes out is wind.

Such people discover that their desire to affect change does not reflect in their reality, because they have not been well fed.

Brethren, you have not done anything yet. Do not be deceived by how much you have, or by the things the world regard as achievements...hitherto, you have not wrought any deliverance.

Peradventure, you have laboured to no avail before now; it is time to sit down, eat well and generate the strength to bring forth your vision.

...neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Christ declared that He was the light of the world as long as He was in it. (Jn 9:5). When He was to depart, He passed the mantle to you and me (Matt 5:14).

If you are the first Christian in your household, this charge is yours to bear, and it is not one to take lightly. You therefore do not come to church to play. You have a serious responsibility in your household: to cast out every evil- powers, covenants, curses, spells, patterns, judgements- brought in by your ancestors. You put an end to their dominion and enthrone Christ, making way for others to rise in your household.

Until you bring these ones down, you have not yet done the real thing. You have simply brought forth wind.

It is a great responsibility; that of a divine pathfinder.

This is why you must eat well, so that you can work well and leave a legacy- that is acknowledged in the heavens- for generations unborn.

Be like Moses; be a father in your household- lift up your hands in prayer for your people.

Mic 7: 14-17

We have learnt about foes; those who come against you in the realm of the spirit, and desire only to feed on your flesh. We also learnt the importance of feeding those who have been marked for destruction by such foes.

Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead...

Ps 23:4 talks about the rod and the staff.

You need to seek out a place where you will be provoked unto love and to good works (Heb 10:24); a place where you are trained in the Word and prayer. Be ready to endure correction and discipline in order to grow in these areas.

...as in the days of old.

O that men would seek, and sit with the Word as in the days of old! Unfortunately, while the Speaker remains stable, the seekers are unstable.

Many desire the manifestation of God’s power as of old, but they do not hunger for His Word accordingly.

Churches fill up for praise nights and prophetic services, but the head count at Bible Study sessions is a sad testament to the value this generation places on the Word.

As in the days of your coming forth from the land of Egypt, I will show them marvellous things (AMP)

Yet, God is saying, ‘if men can seek Me as in the days of old, I will display marvellous things, as I did when I brought Israel out of Egypt.’

This is what you stand to gain when you feed well. Every enemy against your life will be dealt with, and all will know the greatness of His might towards you.

The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might..

Note the word ‘nations’. Let us establish that holiness does not exempt anyone from attacks. You must understand that there are powers rising to stop you (remember Balak and Balaam).

The good news is this: if you are well fed, these enemies (no matter their number) will be ashamed, because they will see all their efforts against you- wrought with all their might- frustrated, again and again.

...they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

In their shame, they will place their hands over their mouth, as an expression of fearful wonder, at your progress in spite of all they have done. News about your rising will make them stop their own ears because it will too much for them to bear!

They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

The ones who sought to bring you down will find themselves on the ground, licking dust like a snake...and when they are alerted of your presence, they will lose boldness before you, and hide like worms from your sight.

Through you, the fear of God will be established in their heart.

These will be your testimony, when you eat well. You become a vessel of the display of the power and might of God, and His instrument of enthroning His will in your world.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My life, you must grow in the power, knowledge, revelation, fire of God.
  • Higher power, possess my life mightily.
  • My life, receive raw fire to bring forth.
  • My life, receive fire to bring down strangers in my household.
  • Whatever my parents brought into my household, working against my destiny; I destroy you by fire.
  • My life, progress!
  • Evil strangers, in my household, showing yourself mighty against my life; I bring you down by fire.
  • Every evil power or personality rising against my life; go down and lick the dust.

UPGRADING YOUR TOTAL MAN IN CHRIST: ACKNOWLEDGING DIVINE SUFFICIENCY FOR YOUR INSUFFICIENCY

UPGRADING YOUR TOTAL MAN IN CHRIST

ACKNOWLEDGING DIVINE SUFFICIENCY FOR YOUR INSUFFICIENCY

REFERENCES: PSALM 131: 1-2, GENESIS 14:14, EPHESIANS 6:13

As you work towards upgrading your spirit, soul and body in Christ, you must acknowledge that God has the sufficiency for all your insufficiency. You have to recognise that God is sufficient for whatever lack exists in your life...

For many Christians, just enough is enough. They are content with just enough capacity to handle their homes, enough financial substance to take care of basic family needs, and a functional car; nothing fancy. These do not seek for great power or substance.

However, when God decides that you are made for much more, then know that you are in good trouble...

While you still think, talk, work, pray and live as a babe in Christ, you are frustrating God’s plan to use you.

When you are destined for greater things, but stay at the level of an ordinary Christian existence, get ready because trouble will find you, to push you out of your comfort level and into God’s divine plan for you.

Many Christians behave like a child that is being weaned off breast milk. Like the baby that cries inconsolably because he still desires the milk, we fight to remain in our carnal, immature, inadequately trained level.

Ps 131: 1-2

Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

This man is saying, ‘Father, I do not desire much. I just want the standard minimum. I do not desire great power or wealth; neither do I care for great matters or extraordinary things’. Yet, God is saying, ‘I called you for these very things’.

This is the man who had been left in the bush to tend flock. Yet, he was called to be the voice in his household.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Behave yourself.

When God is ready to move you, it will do you good to adjust accordingly.

When his father sent him to minister to the king, this young man stayed a while, and left to return to the bush!

Even when he returned to the city (again at the command of his father) and killed Goliath, he left the giant’s head at the feet of the king, took the giant’s sword to study and made to return again to the bush!

If, like David, you have been crying to be left in the bush, and kicking against the call of God to take the throne, it is time to sit up and adjust.

You need to behave as the great man you are called to be.

Quit throwing tantrums like a baby being weaned by his mother.

As a babe in Christ, you could dwell on the milk level of the Word. However, you must be ready to grow and mature beyond that level and receive the strong meat of the Word.

Gen 14:14

And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.

When Abram went to war against this world power, he did not go with all his servants; only the ones he had trained.

What is even more worthy of note is that he had an armoury, a place stocked with enough weapons of war to arm 318 men.

Do you have a place of power in your home? Is there a place where heaven kisses the earth in your house? Do your children know that there is a place in their home where the God of their father or mother will meet with them?

Brethren, God wants to give you power and authority, but first, He has to train you. To empower you without training would be like giving a loaded gun to a child; he could be the first casualty.

It is a beautiful sight to behold good soldiers in training. You can tell them apart from their poorly trained counterparts by the way they carry themselves and handle their weapons of war. Incidences of ‘accidental discharge’ are unlikely when the soldier is well trained.

Eph 6: 13

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

This is not addressed to civilians, but to well-trained soldiers. No civilian would know how to kit up and wield the weapon!

There are times when God refers His people to certain portions of the scriptures, but they are untrained in accessing the weapon therein.

A man who upgrades himself in Christ avails himself to the help of the Holy Spirit. There will be times when, as you work, or talk, He will come to help you by giving scriptural keys for your situation.

However, to the poorly trained Christian, he might as well be an English man being directed in Russian. Inaccessible help is no help.

...that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Christians run from the battle of life because they have not been trained to pick up the power and fire of the Word.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God...

God desires to give power to every Christian, but the power will not come on every one of them. It will only fall upon those who have been trained to bear it.

When Pentecost came, the power from on high did not miss its way. It did not fall upon those celebrating Pentecost outside. It sought out those tarrying in the Upper Room, filled the house and rested upon its occupants.

God desires that you get to the throne, but He will not take you there without training.

Abram went to war and returned successful because he had well trained servants and the weapons to match. It would have been foolhardy for anyone to make such a man his enemy, because he had proven capable of withstanding, and having done all, to remain standing.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Holy Ghost, I submit my totality to You. Train my soul.
  • Sufficient fire and power of God, possess my life.
  • Whole armour of God- sufficient power, fire, wisdom- possess my life.
  • Any wicked power from anywhere, standing on my way, to block my way; I cast you down and clear you off by fire.
  • Raw fire of God, transform my soul.
  • Any evil power sent to force life out of me, you are a liar. I slay you by fire.
  • Any power using my image to fight me; I slay you by fire.
  • Any stranger sent to my life; I slay you by fire.

DESTINY DEMANDS COMMITMENT:REDIRECTING THE MISDIRECTED IN DESTINY (PT B)

DESTINY DEMANDS COMMITMENT

REDIRECTING THE MISDIRECTED IN DESTINY (B)

REFERENCES: II TIMOTHY 2: 20-21, JEREMIAH 48: 10-12, ZECHARIAH 4: 1-7

So many people live their lives contrary to their true destiny, pursuing the wrong goals, because they were born in the wrong place.

Nehemiah was such a man...born into a strange land and serving as a cup bearer to the king until he discovered God's plan in His Word.

His destiny was however redirected when, he discovered that, although captivity had befallen the people because they forsook God, there was a way of escape- God had promised to bring His scattered people back home and make them better than their fathers, when they turn to Him.

In redirecting the misdirected, there are hard things that must be said; however they are not impossible to accept if we are diligent and willing to pay the price.

Brethren, destiny will trouble you. The journey to fulfilling destiny is fraught with turbulent shakings and it will stress you, before setting you in your place of glory.

Destiny brought Joseph to the pit, but did not leave him there. It took him to the prison, but got him out and finally set him in the palace.

Destiny will take you to the pit before the palace. It therefore takes commitment to hold on to it, until it takes you to your true destination. However the uncommitted will throw in the towel before time and lose.

II Tim 2: 20-21

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from thes, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

In the kingdom of God, there are different types of vessels, mentioned in order of value and worth: gold, silver, wood and earth (clay). Now, while the true value of gold and silver is revealed when they pass through furnace, wood and clay will be destroyed by the same process.

This means that a Christian can either be a vessel of gold or silver, or a vessel of wood or clay. It is however possible to move from the level of clay all the way to the place of gold. As a matter of fact, the ultimate will of God is for every Christian to become vessels of gold. Therefore, do not believe the lies of the enemy that you cannot change and be better than you are.

Remember that God has called you to be the head only. Why then should you remain a vessel of clay?

However, there is a process to the transformation.

Jer 48: 10-12

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood. Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity:

There can be no purging outside the house of God. True transformation will only happen when a person abides in the presence of God. For the same reason, judgement will start in the house of God.

So, we learn that any true Christian leader, who fails to teach his flock to recognise and fight the battles in their lives, or fails to shed the blood of the wicked, is cursed.

Using Moab as our cautionary tale, we see the implication of a life that has not moved from the level of clay. A Christian who still struggles to pray for an hour, who balks at the idea of waiting on God, who sleeps while studying the Word of God, is still settled on his lees.

When a Christian has been moved from vessel to vessel, it will be evident in his response to challenges, because as he advances, he shines in the face of challenges. However, he will have testimonies of ‘troubled’ experiences, at every juncture in his journey towards becoming the vessel of gold.

Only a man who has gone through these experiences will be qualified to take on certain responsibilities and positions in the kingdom of God.

This is why (like it or not) captivity is good, although it is painful. Like Joseph, Nehemiah and the Lord Jesus, you must be ready to go through captivity, so that you may be made perfect through sufferings, and thus fit for captainship.

…therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.

The untroubled Christian will remain at the same level, unchanged in mindset, attitude and spiritual depth. Therefore, God will cause him to go into captivity and the troubling shall begin.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.

When the Christian resists God’s effort to pour him from vessel to vessel, then he will have to contend with the devil’s nefarious agenda- of waste and destruction.

Zech 4: 1-7

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, and said unto me, what seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Before we go further, there is need to understand the mystery behind this revelation.

  • the candlestick refers to the heart of man,

  • the candle refers to God.

  • the seven lamps refer to the seven spirits of God

  • the two olives are the Father and the Son

Whoever desires to have the fullness of the Godhead dwell in him, and desires to manifest the different gifts of God, must have a heart that has been moved to the level of gold and thus fit for the Light of the world to sit upon.

So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, what are these, my lord? Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying…

Now observe...

When the prophet asked the angel the mystery behind ‘these’, the angel replied with the expression, ‘This is...’

The different visions you have seen about your destiny, which has you wondering ‘what are these?’  have one purpose- to make you a vessel of gold, ...

Zerubbabel was born in captivity (his name means ‘the fruit of Babylon’). Yet God saw his heart of gold, and thus a man who was fit to be a candlestick- a carrier of the light (the fire and power of God). This man, despite his humble beginnings had worked on himself and moved up from clay all the way to become a golden vessel.

Many call the Lord into their lives, but unfortunately, the seat of their hearts are already occupied.

This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain…

The Lord testifies that He has made Zerubbabel’s heart his dwelling place. As a result, mountains that would have stopped some other people would become ‘plain’ before him, because he is a golden candlestick carrying the presence of God.

This is the beauty of a golden vessel. When you carry the fullness of God’s presence, mountains will become flat ground before you. As you go through the process; moving from the heart of clay, wood and silver to the heart of gold, the mountains standing in your way have no choice but to become a plain.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My heart, receive the fire to become the best God has called you to be.

  • Candidate of darkness standing against my what God has called me to do, be wasted by fire.

DESTINY DEMANDS COMMITMENT: LOVE GENERATES COMMITMENT (B)

PASTOR’S CORNER

DESTINY DEMANDS COMMITMENT

LOVE GENERATES COMMITMENT (B)

REFERENCES: JEREMIAH 30: 21, SONGS OF SOLOMON 1: 4, LUKE 21:17-19

It is the love of God in the heart of a man that keeps him committed to his destiny, no matter what challenges he faces. However, that man will also have to contend with a committed devil, who desperately works to draw every man away from destiny, especially the committed man.

Man, as a tripartite being, is a spirit, has a soul (the part of man that is alive in the dream realm) and dwells in a body. As we continue with this teaching, it is needful to note that not every Christian has possessed his true soul.

Now, the Word reveals that true transformation can only come through the renewing of the soul. This can only happen when the soul, through the mind, is fed with the Word of God. It also means that a man who thinks wrongly does so because wrong information has been forced into his mind.

Jer 30: 21

And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart unto me? Saith the LORD.

As Christians, we must understand that we are not all at the same level of maturity, faithfulness or power.

From the congregation, there are those who are called out because they have proved themselves to be nobles.

But there is another level; out of the nobles, one is called forth as a governor.

The governor is not chosen by man, neither is he self appointed. Instead, God propels him, causing him to draw near to Him. His unquenchable yearning and desire for God is not ordinary; it is a result of the divine pull upon his heart.

The heavy hand of God upon his life will constrain the governor to live for God and Him alone. He lives in constant consciousness of his divine assignment- he cannot do what other members of the congregation do because He has been chosen to talk to, and raise nobles.

On the flip side, a man who easily walks out of God’s presence is being drawn away by a negative force. A Christian finds it easy to break away from the things of God- the Word, prayer- because there is a devil hired and committed to the destruction of his destiny, by drawing him away from God.

Songs of Solomon 1: 4

Draw me, we will run after thee:

Once the governor is drawn by God, nobles will definitely be born. As he runs after God and follows Him, the nobles will also run because they are partakers of the same divine force.

the king hath brought me into his chambers:

When he is drawn by God, he gains access into the chambers- the secret room of the King. There, he is exposed to His treasure of mysteries and revelation, and is fed so that he can feed the nobles.

we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

What meal could satisfy as richly as the rich meat of His word?! It is more satisfying and memorable than any platter of food man can offer!

When God draws a man and feeds him in His inner sanctum, He makes him a governor who raises nobles and feeds them with spiritual food like none other.

This also means that a governor who has not gone into the chambers of the King will have no nutritious meal with which to build nobles.

Lk 21:17-19

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.

Although it is inevitable that every Christian will be hated, still, the enemy is not permitted to determine how you die. However, for this Word to become a reality, you must patiently fight to claim the true life of your soul.

Yes, it is possible for a Christian to not possess his true soul.

You experience slavery, degrading servitude, pollution, humiliation, forced feeding, corruption and demotion in the dream realm because you are yet to possess the true life of your soul.

When a man walks around with a ‘fake’ soul, he lacks the fire of God and his dreams cannot be right as an un-renewed soul is susceptible to manipulation. This is why a Christian can consistently have a dream that is contrary to his divine destiny.

You must therefore fight to gain back the true life of your soul- which is under the sole influence of the Holy Ghost.

This is why you need a governor who has gone into the chamber of the King, to equip you with the relevant weapons you need to patiently possess your true soul.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Fire of God, possess my soul now.

  • Every sacrifice forced into my soul against my destiny; I force you out by fire.

  • Every sacrifice forced into my body against my destiny; I force you out by fire.

  • Witchcraft mirror monitoring and controlling my soul; break and scatter.

  • Any wicked power programmed into my soul against my destiny; I force you out by fire now.

DESTINY DEMANDS COMMITMENT: YOU ARE GOD'S INVESTMENT (PT B)

DESTINY DEMANDS COMMITMENT

YOU ARE GOD’S INVESTMENT (B)

REFERENCES: MATTHEW 13: 37- 40, MATTHEW 9: 36- 38

In the first part of this message, we learnt that God has invested greatly in us for one reason: so that we should show forth His glory. However, there is a devil, actively working to make the sons of God inactive in the fulfilment of this destiny. Our responsibility is to turn the tables in favour of our divine assignment and justify God’s investment in us.

Today, we will learn to deal with every personality assigned and committed to frustrate God’s divine agenda for our lives. This is because the devil works to frustrate God’s original purpose by bringing in his own evil seed into God’s field- your life.

Matt 13: 37- 40

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man, the field is the world, the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of the world

God brings people into His kingdom for a purpose. As Christians, we are His field, and He plants His seeds in us, investing in our lives the capacity and potential to produce a 100-fold harvest.

However, whenever God invests in a life, or brings His people together, the devil also seeks a way to implant his own seeds- his agents of destruction- in that life or union.

Consider this parable: a man sows seed in his field, as is his right. Yet, a stranger, his enemy, breaks into the farm and sows evil seed in the man’s farm!

This is the reality of God’s church. Even as Christ plants sons in His Church, the devil also sows his evil children in Christ’s Church.

Notice that the enemy did not kill the good seeds, but simply planted his own in their midst, thus reducing the capacity of the good ones to produce a 100-fold harvest. Brethren, there are children of the devil in the Church, in marriages built on the Rock, in businesses founded on the Word; satanic agents planted to frustrate your destiny by making your life unproductive.

At the time of harvest however, a definite separation is made as the devils spawn were gathered and destroyed to make way for the good produce.

Matt 9: 36- 38

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.

When a flock of sheep is not fed, they will surely become faint, and inevitably scatter. Brethren, when the devil succeeds in reducing the spiritual capacity of Christians, these two things will happen:

  • they will faint, and

  • they will be scattered

Only a well fed Christian can stand unmovable against the attempts of the enemy to scatter.

Christ has declared that the harvest in you is plenteous. If He says it, then it is so. However, the harvest will only be fully gathered when the Christian is well fed, because a faint and scattered life cannot give full harvest.

Brethren, understand this: notwithstanding where you are today, you already have plenteous harvest in you. The labourers’ job is not to sow the seed, but simply to ensure a full harvest. The Lord has invested so much in you; strive therefore to produce so much.

The harvest belongs to the Lord- your money, children, talents, abilities, your body, they all belong to God. The labourers are the pastors sent to you to help you produce at full capacity.

The devil also has an agenda, so he brings his own children into your life to reduce your harvest.

The irony is that, those he uses are not originally his. He simply influences people to use God’s investment in them for his own evil vision, and destroys them when he is through.

You therefore have a choice, be fed by the Lord to give full harvest, or give His due to the enemy of your destiny.

Brethren, there are seeds of the devil, who have the assignment of, and are committed to the pulling down of your marriage, business, career, ministry. The devil planted them in the field of your life because he knows that it the only way to ensure that your expected harvest of 100% is frustrated.

There are many today who are still reeling from the work of the seed of satan, sown in their lives at an early age. They struggle to produce a full harvest because they are yet to recover from the damage.

It is time to change the order of your life story in favour of your original destiny. Choose to produce a full harvest unto the LORD.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My soul, receive the power to produce a 100% for my maker.

  • Holy Ghost, fill me with Your fire to produce a 100% for my maker.

  • Any agent of darkness sent to my life to make my destiny unproductive; I bury your power by fire.

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER : WHY WE NEED TO ACCESS THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER (PT 2)

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER:

WHY WE NEED TO ACCESS THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER (PT 2)

ENLARGEMENT IN CHRIST

REFERENCES: PSALM 145: 10-13, JOB 21:7- 10, PSALM 37: 35

In the first part of this teaching: “Why You Must Access the Days of Divine Power”, we learnt that it so that we can unveil the true God. If you still live in sin, then you are yet to see and unveil the true God in your life and household. You may receive answers to prayers and walk in His mercy while you live in sin, but you cannot access and unveil His full nature, power and glory until you live a life of holiness, and seek Him.

The other reason why we need to access the days of His divine power is for enlargement.

People manipulate and prosper at the expense of others because they lack the true power of God. When you have the power of God, you will have people bring blessings to your feet, like in the days of the apostles.

Holiness alone cannot guarantee prosperity, abundance or enlargement. You also need the true power of God. You must be ready to do what the apostles did: tarry (wait in the presence of God at night, in fasting and prayer) until you receive power to enlarge.

Ps 145: 10- 13

All Thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and Thy saints shall bless Thee.

Saints are those who trust and believe in God; those who have said ‘no’ to sin- to worldliness, deceitfulness, un-forgiveness, anger, and immorality. The power of God is for these people, and they will be proud of God because only a saint who carries the power of God can confidently say ‘I bless the Lord’.

They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy power

If there are three things you must hear of, they are the kingdom, the power and the glory. You must learn how to live, serve, walk, work, speak in the kingdom; you must learn how to access His power and show forth His glory, because you cannot be in the kingdom of God and not display His glory.

Christ spoke to the disciples about the kingdom for 40 days. Before He ascended, He told them to wait for the power. And, when they power came, they displayed the glory.

...to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of His kingdom.

It is the responsibility of the saints (the sons of God) to reveal the powerful acts of God to the sons of men (the unbelievers).

The Acts of the Apostles were actually the Acts of God, but they were displayed by men. If you also must display the acts of God and have men talk about the Acts of.............. (fill in your name), you must be a saint who carries the power of God.

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Whether you access it or not, the kingdom of God is everlasting, and His dominion is present in every generation. Your fathers could neither access the days of God’s power nor display the acts of God because they were busy serving false gods.

The kingdom, power and glory are still accessible in our time, but many of us are busy playing tradition, oblivious to the divine reality available to us.

Job 21: 7- 10

Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?

The wicked live and prolong their days because there are no righteous men to cut them short. They in turn, then rise to cut short the lives of those around them.

The secret to old age therefore is power, and any Christian who lacks power makes himself an easy target of the wicked. Any Christian who desires to live to a full old age, in wealth and power must carry the power and fire of God.

The God, who empowered Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to live out all their years and die when they were ready, is the same God you serve today. Why then should you not walk in the same power and go the way they went?

Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.

The power level of a man determines the success level of his children.

The worth of a man is not known until his children prosper in his sight. You are a man of power when you can pave the way for his children to succeed and assure them of excellence in all their endeavours because of his exploits and triumph in the realm of the spirit.

Sadly, it is the wicked who have grasped this insight. And so, they perform evil against the children of the righteous, but no evil befalls their own children, because they are in power.

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.

Safety is also a function of power. While the children of the wicked walk in the confidence of their fathers’ power to ensure their safety, the children of the righteous live in uncertainty and fear because their parents are powerless.

If you do not want to be held guilty over the lives of your spouse and children, you must be ready to take up the responsibility of accessing the days of God’s power.

Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.

Even the works of their hands do not suffer any loss! Their businesses, investments, and careers do not go down, all because they are in power...yet they are the wicked!

Brethren, let us be wise and seriously consider this matter: why do the wicked prolong their days and all their household flourish, but the household of the righteous languish in losses, and the righteous helplessly bewail and bemoan their plight? If the wicked achieve so much through the power of darkness, should we not achieve much more by the power of the Almighty God?

It also stands to reason that any child of the powerful who desires to succeed must be willing and obedient to the instructions of his father.

Ps 37: 35

I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

Enlargement is the function of great power.

If you must expand, from one small business venture, a low paying job, from the early days of your marriage, to greater heights, then you need the power of God.

Peter preached one message and 3000 souls were won into the kingdom of God, after tarrying in His presence. Brethren, if you must spread and enlarge, you must seek and wait for the power of God.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, let Your fire take over my life.

  • My life, receive fire to spread.

  • Great power of God to expand, possess my life (my soul, marriage, business, career, etc).

  • Forces working tirelessly to make my life stagnant; I destroy your power by fire.

  • Any wicked personality empowered to cut short my days; I cut you down by fire.

  • Any power seeking my life; I kill you by fire.

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER : ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER DEMANDS A HIGH SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER:

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER DEMANDS A HIGH SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY

REFERENCES: II CORINTHIANS 4:10-12, EPHESIANS 3:10-11

Accessing the days of divine power demands more than you just believing; it also requires that you display a high sense of responsibility, for there is no possibility without responsibility.

If you desire to pray, confident that your prayers will perform the work you have sent it, if you will claim exception to the evil pattern that has overrun others in your household, then this message is for you.

II Cor 4: 10-12

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Our responsibility is to carry in our bodies the death of Christ, always. People find it easy to act the way they like, even in the kingdom of Christ, because they are not carrying anything. Can you imagine being able to fight or commit immorality, while carrying around the dead body of Christ?

Anyone who carries about the death of Christ will be constrained in the things he does, because he knows that he must not drop what he is carrying.

Always carry...

Christianity is not for the lazy or the careless, neither is it an occassional event. You do not choose when you will or will not carry the death of Christ. If you must access the days of divine power, you must take up the responsibility of carrying the death of Christ in your body always. It must direct your ways, words, actions and choices.

Now, every time you fail to carry the cross, you lose the life and power of God. Whenever you drop His death, you also drop the power and fire of God.

So, choosing to let go is not an act of weakness but of wisdom- understanding that dropping the cross of Christ means losing the power of God...

For we who are alive...(vs 11) (NIV)

This means that not all Christians are alive. When your prayer fails to generate the fire and power of God, it is a sign that you are not alive in the realm of the spirit, and therefore, your prayers are dead.

For the power of God to manifest in your life, for you to be alive in the realm of the spirit, you must first carry the death of Christ in your body always.

Many Christians desire to walk in the power of God; yet they experience the opposite. Rather than oppress, they experience oppression. The expectation that the fire of God will appear when they call is disappointed because they are not alive in the spirit. Why? they have dropped the body of Christ.

Whenever you drop the death of Christ, it is a sign that you are yet to die to your old nature- anger, malice, un-forgiveness, immorality, addictions to sin. These are things that cause us to drop the body of Christ.

Take some time to consider this: where did you drop the body of Christ? How did you drop it? What took it from you?

So, for the life, fire, power and might of Christ to be revealed in you always, you must die to self, carrying the death of Christ in your body always.

Remember, only such as these are alive in the realm of the spirit. It is therefore your responsibility to please Christ- the One who died for you, always.

Mary Magdalene sought the dead body of Christ, and was ready to carry it. That is why she was the first to see the risen Christ. As many as are willing to carry the body of Christ, who are ready to reject the things you once carried for His sake, will also see what others have not seen.

While the death of Christ works to destroy all the works of the flesh in you, His fire manifests in you and penetrates the lives of those around you. As the self dies, you generate life, power, fire and manifest that in the lives of others.

Eph 3:10-11

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord

The intention of God is that all His manifold wisdom will be manifest to principalities and powers in the heavenly places, through His Church.

It is crucial that we understand the purpose of the Church. It is a place where we worship God and ask for His power and instructions in that order. (Ps 27:4) Unfortunately, a lack of understanding has led to the abuse of the Church. The place of worship has now become an avenue to network and groove, and motivational speeches have taken the place of the power and instruction from God.

...the manifold wisdom of God ...

Manifold implies many, so the wisdom of God is many- sided. It can get you prosperity, and power. It brings favour and also sound health; it gives breakthrough and also dominion. To stay at one level of His wisdom is to short-change yourself.

Through the Church, God desires and intends to reveal His manifold wisdom to principalities and powers in the heavenly places, and to do so now. Sadly, the reverse is the present reality, for we see, instead, principalities and powers chasing the church to seek occult powers.

Anyone who will fulfil this divine purpose, of displaying the power of God, must ascend into the heavens; and that will only happen when you carry the death of Christ always, and have died to self.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, I surrender my life to You, to take up the responsibility of dying to self.

  • Father, have mercy on me, as I surrender all to you.

  • My soul, receive the fire to be alive always.

  • Every ruler of darkness contending with my destiny; I destroy you by fire.

  • Every ruler of darkness that shot at me; I shoot you back by fire.

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER

BE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD

REFERENCES: EXODUS 3:1- 4, EZEKIEL 36:33- 37, AMOS 5:8-9

The bible says those that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. You need to be led by the Spirit of God in order to access the days of His divine power. The power of God is not for children; God is not prodigal with His power and will not give it to those who cannot bridle their tongues or deny themselves.

Rather, the power of God is only available to sons, that is, those who exercise maturity in their Christian walk.  This is of course means that you cannot even access the power of God if you are not born of the Spirit. The first step to accessing His power therefore is to be born again; to acknowledge and repent of your sins, and confess Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

Ex 3: 1-4

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and bush was not consumed...

It takes a man to lead sheep, but it takes God to lead a man...

Moses led the flock into the desert, but God led him to the mountain. Remember that Moses had fled from Pharaoh after his attempt to save his people failed. God led him to the mountain in order to appear to him.

When he got to the mountain, he saw the burning flame and turned to see it. At that time, God spoke to Him. But it started with God leading him.

After the fire appeared, he heard a voice. That was where and when he was fortified to return to Pharaoh and conquer the tormentor of his life. if you must also turn the tables on your oppressors, you must let God lead you. Be ready to pray and fast when He instructs you to, whether it is convenient or not. When you do, He will appear to you; you will see His fire and hear His voice.

Eze 36:33- 37

Thus saith the Lord GOD; in the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, this land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

...in the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities ...

This talks about your salvation. We have learnt that salvation is the first step to accessing the power of God. But that is just the beginning of the journey.  As a Christian, you should seek to know what comes next. God did not just save you; it was for a reason and it is your duty to find out, what next?

...I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded...

After cleansing you of your iniquities, God wants to move you into your destined place. To achieve this, He will move you to do certain things in Him; things that will propel you dwell in your destiny.

There is no life that has not suffered waste- maritally, financially, career or health wise. However, God does not intend to leave your life the way it was before He saved you. He desires to restore all that the enemy has wasted in your life. Therefore, He will ask you to reflect on your life and the need for change. He will cause to do things you may not want to do, in order to build up your wasted places.

Now, understand this: what God will cause you to do will be the things that others may not be doing. When this happens, do not compare yourself to others- it is to build your destiny.

And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, this land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about yuou shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Be ready to till your land. God will not leave your life desolate, but you must be ready to see what He sees and work as He leads you, tilling the land. While you are doing this, many will look disparagingly at you and mock you; do not be bothered or discouraged by them. It simply means that the hand of God is upon you. Soon, the same people will look back at your life and comment that, what was once a desolate land, is now like the Garden of Eden.

God did not just cleanse, purge and save you. He is also a specialist in rebuilding ruined lives and making them look like the garden of Eden. And the heathen will declare His faithfulness over your life.

It does not matter what wasted your destiny. If you let God cleanse and make you, if you let Him move you to till your land, you will become the best.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Your responsibility is to seek God. That is why He drives you to seek Him. Others may be asleep, wining and dining; you simply face your destiny and God. The burden has come on you because He wants to build you and plant fire, favour, power, prosperity, wisdom in you.

In the same way, whatever comes upon you to keep you from praying, studying the Word, and waiting on God, is leading you to quench the fire of God.

Amos 5:8-9

Seek Him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: the LORD is His name: that strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

Seek Him; the LORD who can turn the shadow of death into morning. He is able to reverse even the most grievous judgment of death and turn the condemned’s life into the morning. So, while the enemy is expecting to hear news of your death, they will be shocked to see you living the morning of your life!

Seek Him; the LORD who strengthens the spoiled against the strong, the captive against the captor, the oppressed against the oppressor.

When you have been taken captive, a spoil of the strong, seek God. There, in your captivity, He will make you strong. Then, you will go back to the same Pharaoh you once ran from and defeat him.

God planted fire and power in Moses and sent him back to the Pharaoh that spoiled him. After 40years of training, he was ready to go back; but now he was a different person, a danger and terror to the strong. He could confront the fortress of Egypt and do what he could not achieve 40years before.

God wants to fortify you and send you back to face what once wasted and spoiled your life. He will plant His fire and power in you to the point that you will be discontent with your former state; until you have spoiled the strong.

It is time to stop running and take the battle to the spoiler. That is why you need to be led by the Spirit of God.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Holy Ghost, plant your fire, power and authority in me.

  • Every power fortified to damage my life; I damage and destroy you by fire.

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER : KINGDOM INFORMATION GENERATES KINGDOM POWER

AUGUST 2ND 2015

PASTOR’S CORNER

ACCESSING THE DAYS OF DIVINE POWER:

KINGDOM INFORMATION GENERATES KINGDOM POWER

REFERENCES: JOB 4: 1, 12-17, JOB 42: 7-8, PSALM 50:23, ISAIAH 33:22, OBADIAH vs 6

This is the era of power. In this generation, there is a display of all manners of powers and lying wonders, even in the church of God. It is therefore dangerous for any Christian to live without the power of God.

Any church without the power of God is a joke; no matter how beautiful it is, it is an empty shell.

In order to generate the power of God, you need to have kingdom information. Every kingdom has its own information. In the kingdom of God also, there are relevant information you must access in order to activate the kingdom power. It is possible to pray and not get results if you do not have the relevant information to overcome the situation.

Job 4: 1, 12-17

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said…Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof. In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men, fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up: it stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his maker?

Here, we hear the rending of Eliphaz the Temanite, one of Job’s friends, where he reveals that he received something in his dream from God. However, he only received a little of what he was given.

God had allowed the devil to attack Job, but first, He revealed the situation and the secret to overcoming the attack to his friend. Unfortunately, the Temanite did not receive all that God gave to him.

Brethren, understand this: whatever a person is going through, God will always reveal the secret of that challenge to someone close to the person; a spouse, a prayer partner, a spiritual mentor or leader. The sad reality is that most of us are too lazy to receive all that God is revealing. Now, how can you solve a problem when you do not have all the information?

If you will access the days of divine power, you must have self control. Anyone who will display the power of God will not sleep, eat or play anyhow, and will be alert to the prompting and leading of the Holy Spirit, even when it is inconvenient.

So, if your spouse, partner or pastor is another ‘Jonah’, then you have work to do. This is why Christians pray but do not achieve the desired results; they lack the sufficient information to generate sufficient power with God in prayer.

Job 42: 7-8

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. Therefore, take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that you have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

Brethren, how do you present God to your household and acquaintances? Do they see Him as any other god, or is your life a testament to His greatness and almighty power? Do you experience the same oppression they do, or does your life stand out as divinely connected and directed?

God was angry at Eliphaz and his friends because they misrepresented Him and demanded that He will only accept their sacrifice if Job prays for them. That is like a church member, who was in trouble, praying for the pastor that should have had the solution; the sheep praying for the shepherd.

When a Christian fails to access divine information, he puts himself in danger of satanic attacks without the option of divine intervention. The devil will deal with such a Christian and God will do nothing about it. Why? Because he wasted the information God gave to him.

Today, Christians take the word of God for granted. We sleep, answer phone calls and engage in distracting activities while the Word is being served. And we wonder why our prayers do not generate the desired results.

Husband, when you fail in your role as the receiver of divine information, God will turn to your wife.  When the three friends failed to represent God well, it was young Elihu that took up the responsibility and did it well. And when he did, God spoke. This means that, when you speak the right words, based on the right information, heaven will definitely answer.

Ps 50:23

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth Me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

The word ‘conversation’ refers to prayer. When your prayer is according to divine information, God will display His power. The bible says that the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us (Isa 33:22). This principle means that, when He gives the devil permission to attack you, He will also give you the information to overcome the attack and show your superiority over the devil. Now, when a judge gives you relevant information about your case, and you present your case accordingly, the judge will definitely justify you and rule in your favour.

Don’t disappoint God in your marriage. Don’t allow the devil continue to run shod over your life and your household.

Oba vs 6

How are the things of Esau searched out! How are his hidden things sought up!

Whether you access the right information or not, there are powers commissioned to search out and investigate your life. Their mission is to find out hidden things about your life- your weaknesses, foundational patterns and iniquities that they can use to defeat you.

The devil moved Jacob to cheat his brother of his birthright; because he had searched out that he was vulnerable when hungry. When it was time for Isaac to bless Esau, the same devil exposed him to his mother and moved her to frustrate his blessing. Even when he determined to kill his brother, the devil again revealed the plan to Rebecca and Jacob was sent far away from him. In the end, Esau was left alone, without his birthright, blessing or his revenge.

When Jesus turned water to wine, the governor of the wedding commented that the new wine was better than the former. Although, he did not know the source of the wine, the disciples who drew it knew that it was water. When you pay the price to access divine information, like the disciples, you will know the secret behind the miracles your family experiences.

If the enemy makes it their mission to search out information on how to attack you and shock you on every turn, why would you fail to access the divine information you need to overcome? It is time to wake up and receive all the information God has prepared for you.  It is time to shock the enemies and frustrate their expectations of you.

The question is: are you willing to pay the price?

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, I surrender my life to You. Open my eyes to see, and my ears to hear all that heaven is revealing to me.

  • My soul, it is time to display God’s power. Receive the fire to access kingdom information.

  • My life, receive the power to shock principalities and powers.

  • Any investigation, going on in the kingdom of darkness against my life, to frustrate my destiny; I destroy you by fire.

  • Information from the kingdom of darkness to search out the secret of my life and destiny; I destroy you by fire.
