THE MYSTERIES OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY:
OVERCOMING THE IDENTICAL BATTLES
REFERENCES: I PETER 5:8-10, AMOS 3:4, PSALM 74:4
As we come to the conclusion of this series for now, there is something every Christian must know.
Every saint is called to fight.
The size of your fight reflects the size of your destiny.
You can actually determine how great your destiny is, by the calibre of enemies that wage war against you. The bigger they are, the greater your destiny is...
The more determined you are to live for God; to become a standard for Him in your world, the more certain it is that you are in for a fight.
Therefore, while others live prayer-less, compromised, and mediocre lives in Christ, you will do well to judge rightly.
Do not make the mistake comparing yourself to others; do not be in a haste to doubt the faithfulness and integrity of God.
One of the battles you must overcome is that which is identical in your world. These are battles that are common in your household. You see them manifesting in the lives, marriages and finances of your siblings, parents, relations...
These are identical battles.
If you are going to overcome these common battles, you must be make ready and prepare well for the fight.
Understand who God has called to be; in whose spirit He has called you to walk; and study to know how to deal with the battle appointed against you.
A man called to be the Ezekiel in his world must learn to know that, many things God reveals to him may not come to pass in the near future.
The man called to be Peter- the rock, the standard- in his world must know that the devil has desired to have him, and to sift him like wheat.
If you are called to be the Nehemiah of your world; to build the walls, and cover the breaches, then beware. Sanballat, Tobiah, and hateful nations will rise against you.
I Pet 5: 8-10
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
These are words of Peter.
He preached the message from a place of experience.
Be sober. Be reflective and thoughtful in your doings. Be swift to hear, but slow to speak...
These are the words of a man who knows what it is to suffer for careless words and choices.
When Jesus announced that they would all desert Him, everyone was silent, except Peter. He hastily declared that he would never leave Jesus.
He talked when he should have thought...
Be vigilant. Be alert, watchful, on guard.
These are the words of a man who knows the pain of being the target of a roaring adversary. One minute, he is declaring by divine revelation that Jesus was the Messiah. The next, he is being rebuked by the Messiah for speaking by satanic inspiration.
This is the man to whom Christ declared: the devil has desired to have you; but I have prayed for you. I have taken you out of his hands.
However, I will allow him to get you.
He will get you because you talked, when you should have been silent.
He will get you for a while, so that you will learn to be sober.
My prayer will bring you back from the other side.
When the cock shall crow, and your humility is completed, you shall be restored.
When you are converted, strengthen your brethren with the things that you learnt, by the things that you suffered.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Brethren, the afflictions you face are not uncommon; they are not unique.
There is nothing you go through in life, which has not already happened to people in the Kingdom.
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times
Many Christians live unbalanced lives.
There are those who can pray without ceasing, but they doze off before the Word.
Others are full of the Word, but lack the fire of Prayer.
An unbalanced Christian life is a breach.
A man, who stands on one leg, is an easy opponent to bring down. A slight push is all that is needed to make him topple over.
The same principle applies in the realm of the spirit.
An unbalanced Christian will find himself falling over many times, because he is not standing well.
Become an unmoveable Christian. Stand well.
Be well balanced.
Love the Word. Then, speak the Word in Prayer.
Otherwise, the cock shall crow.
...for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
Your enemy is the devil.
Now, the concern is not that he roams around, but that he roars.
Amos 3:4
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
Will a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Will a young lion cry out of his den if he has taken nothing? [AMP]
His roaring is a matter of concern, because a lion only roars when he has caught a prey. He roars to declare that he has a prey at his feet.
This means that, the enemy roars against a Christian, a marriage, a congregation, or a business, when he has captured the breaches therein.
He roars to announce his catch: he has discovered the error- the weakness- of the person, marriage, business or church; and it is only a matter of time before he devours...
Therefore, he will roar over the man who will not pray, as well as the man who despises the Word.
The devil has applied this is a time-tested principle for a really long time.
When Peter failed to watch and pray with Christ at the mount, the enemy roared; and the same man who had claimed that he was too weak to pray in the time of peace, sought divine permission to commit error in the time of confusion.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Brethren, you must not suffer the affliction that others did.
What conquered others must not conquer you.
When you conquer the common affliction, others will come to you, to learn how to do the same.
Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset- rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined] [AMP]
Put on the whole armour of God (Eph 6: 11, 13), so that you can withstand this adversary.
Stand well- balanced, firmly established, strong immovable, focused and determined- to fight well.
Be determined.
Know that this enemy has fought many saints in the Kingdom, and he will fight you, despite your holiness.
He will charge upon your weakness and bring you down by it.
When you discover that the enemy is roaring against your world, resist the temptation to fight blindly.
Know the enemy’s strategy.
Remember that his war campaign against you is predicated- based- upon the presence of breaches in your life.
Work first to cover the breach. Then, you fight.
...knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. [AMP]
The devil has appointed the same suffering- the same affliction, problem, error, flaws, failures, patterns of death, struggles- that your parents, siblings, and kindred suffered for you as well.
He has also appointed the same suffering that your brethren in Christ suffer for you. In order to make you a prey, he investigates the errors that you have allowed in your life; when he finds them, he roars.
Peter is warning you: you are not the only one in that mess. He also suffered it, and he has written to you so that you will not suffer the same things.
He was the right man of Jesus. He received divine revelation about the true identity of Christ. Yet, the enemy roared against him.
This is why you must know.
If Peter had known why Jesus asked him to pray, he would have prayed for more than one hour!
If you will not suffer the identical affliction, love the Word
If you will not suffer the identical affliction, meditate on the Word.
If you will not suffer the identical affliction, pray now.
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
As long as the breaches remain, the Christian will continue to suffer.
The key to ending the suffering is to first cover the breaches.
Then, you need a bridge to show you what to do. As you obey the directions of the bridge, in humility and soberness of heart, you will conquer the identical battles.
Ps 74:4
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations
The devil is not applying a new strategy.
He will roar in the congregation where breaches exist; and as long the errors within the church are not dealt with, men will continue to see the works of the devil in their midst.
However, it is not enough to have God in the church. You must also take Him to your house.
Take the power, ability, wisdom, fire, blessings, favour... to your house.
Keep yourself within the divinely created hedge of God around you.
Give the devil no room to roar against your life, home or world. When your life is breach free, the devil will be silent over your life, because he has nothing to use against you.
Rather, the voice that will be heard will be yours- the roar of the righteous.
Brethren, lack of forgiveness, pride, immorality, prayerless-ness...these are all breaches.
...they set up their ensigns for signs.
As long as the breaches remain, the enemies will set up their banner over your life. They will claim your life as a territory, and determine what happens there.
However, once you conquer the errors, you will roar.
Then, your enemies will be silenced before you.
Brethren, you have been warned.
You have an enemy that has marked you for the same suffering that your parents and kindred suffered.
Do not be wounded in the battle of life.
Be well balanced; be sober and vigilant.
Understand that the enemy seeks to attack your unguarded place. Therefore, give him no place of advantage.
Stand well in the Word and in prayer.
Then, resist him steadfastly.
PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Father, I am sorry for every breach I have allowed in my life. I repent of, and turn away from them all. Forgive me.
Father, I choose to live for You from this moment on. Cleanse me. Help me to be a standard for You in my world.
Holy Ghost, take over my life. I belong to You.
Raw fire of God, possess my life.
I receive fire to conquer what conquered my people.
Any magical power, appointed against my life; I terminated by fire.
Any affliction, appointed against my life; you shall never be accomplished.
Any evil- error, judgement, experience- appointed by the devil against me, in the kingdom of God; you are a liar. I resist and conquer you by fire.
Whatever the adversary has appointed against my life and destiny; I conquer and terminate by fire.
Whatever the adversary has appointed against my journey in Christ; I conquer and terminate by fire.
My portion, wherever you are; I command you to come back to me now.
I receive my entire portion in Christ now.
Whatever the kingdom of darkness has accomplished over my parents and brethren; I terminate them over my life.
