THE MYSTERIES OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY: OVERCOMING THE IDENTICAL BATTLES

PASTOR’S CORNER.
THE MYSTERIES OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY:
OVERCOMING THE IDENTICAL BATTLES
REFERENCES: I PETER 5:8-10, AMOS 3:4, PSALM 74:4

As we come to the conclusion of this series for now, there is something every Christian must know.

Every saint is called to fight.
The size of your fight reflects the size of your destiny.
You can actually determine how great your destiny is, by the calibre of enemies that wage war against you. The bigger they are, the greater your destiny is...
The more determined you are to live for God; to become a standard for Him in your world, the more certain it is that you are in for a fight.

Therefore, while others live prayer-less, compromised, and mediocre lives in Christ, you will do well to judge rightly.
Do not make the mistake comparing yourself to others; do not be in a haste to doubt the faithfulness and integrity of God.

One of the battles you must overcome is that which is identical in your world. These are battles that are common in your household. You see them manifesting in the lives, marriages and finances of your siblings, parents, relations...
These are identical battles.

If you are going to overcome these common battles, you must be make ready and prepare well for the fight.

Understand who God has called to be; in whose spirit He has called you to walk; and study to know how to deal with the battle appointed against you.

A man called to be the Ezekiel in his world must learn to know that, many things God reveals to him may not come to pass in the near future.

The man called to be Peter- the rock, the standard- in his world must know that the devil has desired to have him, and to sift him like wheat.

If you are called to be the Nehemiah of your world; to build the walls, and cover the breaches, then beware. Sanballat, Tobiah, and hateful nations will rise against you.
I Pet 5: 8-10
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

These are words of Peter.
He preached the message from a place of experience.

Be sober. Be reflective and thoughtful in your doings. Be swift to hear, but slow to speak...
These are the words of a man who knows what it is to suffer for careless words and choices.
When Jesus announced that they would all desert Him, everyone was silent, except Peter. He hastily declared that he would never leave Jesus.
He talked when he should have thought...

Be vigilant. Be alert, watchful, on guard.
These are the words of a man who knows the pain of being the target of a roaring adversary. One minute, he is declaring by divine revelation that Jesus was the Messiah. The next, he is being rebuked by the Messiah for speaking by satanic inspiration.

This is the man to whom Christ declared: the devil has desired to have you; but I have prayed for you. I have taken you out of his hands.

However, I will allow him to get you.
He will get you because you talked, when you should have been silent.
He will get you for a while, so that you will learn to be sober.

My prayer will bring you back from the other side.
When the cock shall crow, and your humility is completed, you shall be restored.
When you are converted, strengthen your brethren with the things that you learnt, by the things that you suffered.

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Brethren, the afflictions you face are not uncommon; they are not unique.
There is nothing you go through in life, which has not already happened to people in the Kingdom.
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times

Many Christians live unbalanced lives.

There are those who can pray without ceasing, but they doze off before the Word.
Others are full of the Word, but lack the fire of Prayer.

An unbalanced Christian life is a breach.
A man, who stands on one leg, is an easy opponent to bring down. A slight push is all that is needed to make him topple over.

The same principle applies in the realm of the spirit.
An unbalanced Christian will find himself falling over many times, because he is not standing well.

Become an unmoveable Christian. Stand well.
Be well balanced.
Love the Word. Then, speak the Word in Prayer.

Otherwise, the cock shall crow.

...for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

Your enemy is the devil.
Now, the concern is not that he roams around, but that he roars.

Amos 3:4
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?

Will a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Will a young lion cry out of his den if he has taken nothing? [AMP]

His roaring is a matter of concern, because a lion only roars when he has caught a prey. He roars to declare that he has a prey at his feet.

This means that, the enemy roars against a Christian, a marriage, a congregation, or a business, when he has captured the breaches therein.
He roars to announce his catch: he has discovered the error- the weakness- of the person, marriage, business or church; and it is only a matter of time before he devours...

Therefore, he will roar over the man who will not pray, as well as the man who despises the Word.

The devil has applied this is a time-tested principle for a really long time.
When Peter failed to watch and pray with Christ at the mount, the enemy roared; and the same man who had claimed that he was too weak to pray in the time of peace, sought divine permission to commit error in the time of confusion.

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Brethren, you must not suffer the affliction that others did.
What conquered others must not conquer you.
When you conquer the common affliction, others will come to you, to learn how to do the same.

Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset- rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined] [AMP]

Put on the whole armour of God (Eph 6: 11, 13), so that you can withstand this adversary.
Stand well- balanced, firmly established, strong immovable, focused and determined- to fight well.

Be determined.
Know that this enemy has fought many saints in the Kingdom, and he will fight you, despite your holiness.
He will charge upon your weakness and bring you down by it.

When you discover that the enemy is roaring against your world, resist the temptation to fight blindly.

Know the enemy’s strategy.
Remember that his war campaign against you is predicated- based- upon the presence of breaches in your life.

Work first to cover the breach. Then, you fight.

...knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. [AMP]

The devil has appointed the same suffering- the same affliction, problem, error, flaws, failures, patterns of death, struggles- that your parents, siblings, and kindred suffered for you as well.

He has also appointed the same suffering that your brethren in Christ suffer for you. In order to make you a prey, he investigates the errors that you have allowed in your life; when he finds them, he roars.

Peter is warning you: you are not the only one in that mess. He also suffered it, and he has written to you so that you will not suffer the same things.
He was the right man of Jesus. He received divine revelation about the true identity of Christ. Yet, the enemy roared against him.

This is why you must know.
If Peter had known why Jesus asked him to pray, he would have prayed for more than one hour!

If you will not suffer the identical affliction, love the Word
If you will not suffer the identical affliction, meditate on the Word.
If you will not suffer the identical affliction, pray now.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

As long as the breaches remain, the Christian will continue to suffer.
The key to ending the suffering is to first cover the breaches.

Then, you need a bridge to show you what to do. As you obey the directions of the bridge, in humility and soberness of heart, you will conquer the identical battles.

Ps 74:4
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations

The devil is not applying a new strategy.
He will roar in the congregation where breaches exist; and as long the errors within the church are not dealt with, men will continue to see the works of the devil in their midst.

However, it is not enough to have God in the church. You must also take Him to your house.
Take the power, ability, wisdom, fire, blessings, favour... to your house.
Keep yourself within the divinely created hedge of God around you.

Give the devil no room to roar against your life, home or world. When your life is breach free, the devil will be silent over your life, because he has nothing to use against you.

Rather, the voice that will be heard will be yours- the roar of the righteous.

Brethren, lack of forgiveness, pride, immorality, prayerless-ness...these are all breaches.

...they set up their ensigns for signs.
As long as the breaches remain, the enemies will set up their banner over your life. They will claim your life as a territory, and determine what happens there.

However, once you conquer the errors, you will roar.
Then, your enemies will be silenced before you.

Brethren, you have been warned.
You have an enemy that has marked you for the same suffering that your parents and kindred suffered.

Do not be wounded in the battle of life.
Be well balanced; be sober and vigilant.
Understand that the enemy seeks to attack your unguarded place. Therefore, give him no place of advantage.
Stand well in the Word and in prayer.

Then, resist him steadfastly.

PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Father, I am sorry for every breach I have allowed in my life. I repent of, and turn away from them all. Forgive me.
Father, I choose to live for You from this moment on. Cleanse me. Help me to be a standard for You in my world.
Holy Ghost, take over my life. I belong to You.
Raw fire of God, possess my life.
I receive fire to conquer what conquered my people.
Any magical power, appointed against my life; I terminated by fire.
Any affliction, appointed against my life; you shall never be accomplished.
Any evil- error, judgement, experience- appointed by the devil against me, in the kingdom of God; you are a liar. I resist and conquer you by fire.
Whatever the adversary has appointed against my life and destiny; I conquer and terminate by fire.
Whatever the adversary has appointed against my journey in Christ; I conquer and terminate by fire.
My portion, wherever you are; I command you to come back to me now.
I receive my entire portion in Christ now.
Whatever the kingdom of darkness has accomplished over my parents and brethren; I terminate them over my life.

THE MYSTERIES OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY: BRIDGING THE BREACH

PASTOR’S CORNER.
THE MYSTERIES OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY:
BRIDGING THE BREACH
REFERENCES: ISAIAH 58:12, JOB 9:32-34, NEHEMIAH 4:6-8

Breaches refer to the errors in your life.
You need a bridge to conquer every breach in your life
The bridge is that man appointed by God to take you through, and over the breaches.

Isa 58: 12
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
The breach is created by the enemy to weaken; God creates the bridge to help you conquer the breach.
The vision of God for every member of TRPM is to make you the bridge: a man or woman filled with the divine capacity to terminate errors in the lives of men.
When you are such a man, you will have capacity to correct errors in the lives of men, and build their once breach-filled lives.
You will raise up the foundations of men and women, which have been weakened for many generations by breaches...
Lives that have been laid waste will be raised and rebuilt by you.
God needs men like these, because He knows that there are breaches in the lives of Christians.
He therefore needs men who will stand in the position of God, and build lives for Him.
Such men must first conquer what conquers others in their world. You can only take people far when you have already conquered what conquers them.
Jesus was the Bridge.
He was the Bridge who connected God and man, thereby destroying the breach that had been between them for so long.

Job 9:32-34
For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgement.  Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
Job was here lamenting the absence of a bridge between him and God.
He desired to talk to God, but there was no one to connect him.
Indeed, his affliction continued, and even he continued to speak amiss, until a young man, Elihu, arose and spoke. (Job 32-37).
The words of this young man ushered in the response of God in chapter 38, and Job’s deliverance thereafter.
As it was in the old, so it is in the new. When God needed to accept the Gentiles, He sent Paul to bridge the breach between Him and them.
Rightly so did Paul say:
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. (Rom 15:16)
Brethren, you will do yourself good to understand this divine principle.
There are places you may not be able to reach in life, until you are connected to a man that stands as a bridge between you and God, and against the breaches in your life.
Consider the example of a life wire.
When a man lays hold of a life wire, anyone who touches him will also be affected by the electrical current.
Whoever else touches the second man, or a third or fourth man in the link, will also be electrically charged.
They are all affected because something is transmitted from the first man to everyone else.
That is the way it is in the realm of the spirit.
Every family needs a bridge. They need someone who is connected to God, to transmit His light to the other members of the family. Whenever the connection is disrupted, loss occurs.
A bridge can connect people positively or negatively.
Just as some personalities connect their world to God, there are those who are connected to the devil, and therefore transmit evil to the lives of those around them.
This means that nothing just happens to you. Your experiences, good or bad, are a product of the source you are connected to, and evidence of what is being transmitted into your life.
Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify him.
Job was a man of the spirit. Therefore, he understood the need for a man who would lay his hands on both God and himself, thereby connecting them. He knew that the set man could get God to take His anger away from him (Job).
No wonder then, that, after Elihu had spoken (uninterrupted, for 5 chapters!), God stepped in.
The daysman had come.
The connection had been made.
Reconciliation was effected.
Job’s captivity was turned.
A man who understands the mystery of the bridge would never take him for granted.
Cornelius prayed, fasted and gave alms for years. Yet, the Gospel did not get to him until he was connected to a bridge.
Is there something you have been praying and fasting for, but are yet to receive?
Is there a Jordan you are struggling to cross over?
Joshua was the bridge that got Israel through their Jordan.
Consider your connection. Who is your bridge?
The devil has a mission; to weaken and stop men from fulfilling their destinies. He knows that breaches allow him to succeed in his mission.
He also knows that whenever a man is connected to a bridge, he conquers weakness, limitations, frustrations and evil ancestral flow.
David was such a bridge unto Abiathar. By him, Abiathar crossed over the judgement of death, poverty and insignificance that limited his fathers. He crossed into longevity, wealth and national significance because he was connected to David.
Nehemiah was also a bridge.
Although he was financially blessed, he was not fulfilled because his true destiny was to be a bridge- to take people over to the other side.
This man lived a comfortable life, in the lavish setting of the king’s palace. Yet, his countenance fell because the walls of Jerusalem had fallen, and her people had become vulnerable to the enemy.
You also need a Nehemiah; one who is sent to build up the fallen walls, and repair the breaches in the city of God.
The Church needs more Nehemiahs; men who will build up the lives of Christians. The Church needs men, who are not preoccupied with amassing wealth and fame, but with taking men and women from where they are, to where they are truly destined to be.
Neh 4:6-8
So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
And so, the work began, and progressed because the people had a mind to conquer the breaches in their land.
But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth...
Remember that the mission of the devil is frustrated by the mission of the bridge. Therefore, the devil will fight the bridge.
Note the But.
If you have been made a bridge in your world, to take people out of mediocrity, poverty, limitations and the likes; to close up every access point of the enemy into  their lives ; to make them mysteries unto their world; beware that the devil knows you, and he will visit you.
Oh, and he could be a network or conspiracy of angry personalities, who are furious with you for daring to bridge the breaches.
The enemy will use any strategy, including causing fights between the people and their bridge, in order to keep the breaches open in their lives.
So, as you also receive power to go up to repair the breaches, be ready for the fight.

...and conspired all of them together to come and fight against Jerusalem, to hinder it.
Herod and Pilate became friends over the case of Jesus.
Sanballat, Tobiah, and 3 nations joined forces against one man.
The bombardment you face as the bridge is because enemies will join forces to fight you. There will be a conspiracy of powers from your household, your in-laws’ household, the marine kingdom, and territorial powers, all to stop your life from being built up for God.
Nehemiah left the comfort of the palace to build the lives of men, in the face of angry of opposition. He was not confused about his purpose. He was not distracted by the enticement of money. He was not moved by the threats of men.
You also must be ready to run with the divine purpose of a bridge.

Do not lose sight of the mission. Know why you are here.
Build old waste places.
Build up the foundation of generations.
Repair breaches.
Restore pathways.

PRAYER POINTS
Overflowing fire of God, possess my life
My life, receive the charge to raise lives.
My soul, receive divine capacity to build lives.
I receive divine capacity to conquer the breaches
I receive divine capacity to become the bridge that will take my people far.
I receive the mind to conquer my breaches.
My life, receive power to go up!
Every negative ancestral judgement, transmitted to my life; I flush you out by fire.
Every ancestral power, angry against my destiny; you are a liar. I silence you by fire.
Angry powers, against my household, that have vowed not to let my life get better; I slay you by fire.
Angry power that has vowed never to allow any new thing to happen in my life; I locate and destroy you by fire.

THE MYSTERY OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY: DEALING WITH THE STRENGTH KILLER

17 MARCH, 2019

PASTOR’S CORNER

THE MYSTERY OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY:

DEALING WITH THE STRENGTH KILLER

REFERENCES: ROMANS 8:11, ISAIAH 7:5-7, ISAIAH 22:9-7, I JOHN 5:20-21, EPHESIANS 4:27, JOHN 14:30

Every breach in your life is a strength killer.

Every error - in career, marriage, destiny- kills strength. Just as breaches weaken the integrity of a building, they also exist in your life to weaken you by killing your strength.

Rom 8: 11

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

There is the spirit of him who used wicked hands to kill Jesus. (Acts 2:23)

There is the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead…

God puts His Spirit in you in order to quicken you.

He quickens your body by His Spirit in you.

When you are born again, you have His Spirit in your spirit. Your body must also receive that Spirit, so that He can quicken- revive and strengthen- it.

The devil also seeks to put his spirit in your body. However, while God’s Spirit quickens your body, the devil works to weaken your body by his spirit within you.

The devil knows that his spirit cannot get to your spirit (since your spirit is already born of God), so he works to get his spirit into your body, and kill its strength.

This means that both God and the devil are looking for a space in your body.

A life in which God dwells will be full of life, strength, fire, and power. When His Spirit is in your body, you will enjoy a vigorous prayer life.

It is therefore your responsibility to deny the devil, and his weakening agenda- sin, sickness, prayerless-ness, powerlessness- any space in your body.

Isa 7:5-7

Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal

These adversaries knew that they could not achieve their evil agenda until there was a breach.

Until there is a breach in your life, the enemy cannot get his spirit into your life. He therefore looks out for an unguarded moment of error in your life, by which you give space to his spirit in you.

The devil cannot gain access to the secret of your power, strength and prosperity until there is a breach.

Through the breach, he sees. Through the breach, he gains access to douse your fire, to weaken your power, to scatter your prosperity.

When the enemy succeeds in creating a breach in your life, he will set a stranger therein.  He will place one of his own in your world- your body, marriage, business, ministry, career- and use them to work weakness and loss into your life.

…Thus saith the LORD God, it shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

God knows what the success of their mission means to your strength and progress, and has therefore declared the divine judgement in your favour.

He declares that their agenda shall neither stand nor come to pass.

Isa 22: 9-7

Sadly, the people of Judah did not wield the divine judgement against the enemies’ agenda…

Study the above portion of the scripture backwards. As you do, you will see the last revealing the first thing.

Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool

The invasion upon the city of David came to be, because the enemy saw that there were many breaches- errors- in their midst.

When your adversaries see that their mission to vex you into committing error has succeeded- in creating many breaches in your life- they will move on to the next phase.

And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.

Once the enemy sees breaches in your life, he is able to discover the secret of your strength; he will discover your protective cover, and all of your powerhouse.

And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

Then, they will launch their attack.

When you discover that your once beautiful places are now full of battles; that the things you once enjoyed have now become problematic; it is a sign that the enemy has found a place in you.

They created a place- a breach- for themselves in you, and planted a stranger there. That gave them access to discover and disarm your secret- your powerhouse.

Now that their patient planning has paid off; and you are exposed and vulnerable, they have launched their attack.

I Jn 5: 20-21

And we know that the son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and had given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and com to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true- in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). This [Man] is the true God and Life eternal. [AMP]

The letters of John were addressed to three categories of people: little children, young men, and fathers.

Here, he lets it be known that all are in Christ, no matter what category they belong to.

Brethren, you are still in Christ. Despite your present struggles with demonic attacks, or the spiritual, mental or physical afflictions you are enduring at present; you are in Christ.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods)- [from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, form any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be). [AMP]

You are in Christ.

You are not in idols or in ancestral powers.

However, they will come again, to seek a place in your life.

This warning is repeated by Christ…

Jn 14:30

…the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

…and by Paul.

Eph 4:27

Neither give place to the devil…

It is now your responsibility to keep yourself from them; to say no to them.

You must not give any place to these vile beings- sin, sickness, evil ancestral patterns, history, and experiences.

The fight is on for a space in your life; to quicken or weaken you.

The Word has sounded the warning.

The evil one is coming, and seeks something, a place in you.

DO NOT give him space.

Let nothing of the devil be found in you.

Little children, keep your soul, mind, body, marriage, business, career, children…from the devil. AMEN.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Fire of God, quicken my soul and body.
  • Raw fire of God, to displace every stranger; possess my life.
  • Any spirit of the devil occupying any area of my life; hear the judgement of the Lord. I cast you out by fire.

  • Any stranger in my house, body, work, business; your time has expired. Get out by fire.
  • Every error in my life, exposing me to the wicked; I conquer you by fire.
  • Every error in my life, fighting my strength; I conquer you by fire.
  • Any ancestral power seeking any place in my life; I bury you by fire.
  • Any ancestral power that has occupied any place in my life; I cast you out by fire

THE MYSTERY OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY: GUARDING THE UNGUARDED HOUR

PASTOR’S CORNER
THE MYSTERY OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY
GUARDING THE UNGUARDED HOUR
REFERENCES: JOHN 6: 48, ECCLESIASTES 11:1-8, LUKE 22: 49-53

There is an unguarded hour in everyone’s life, when the devil will come visiting. He has an appointment with every man. He came to Jesus; he visited His disciples. There is an hour when he will come visiting you as well.

When that unpredictable hour comes, your ability to overcome-to make the devil bow at your gate, will be determined by how prepared you are.

If a person is not properly trained to handle the unguarded hour, he will be defeated by it. Therefore, if you will be victorious in that hour, you must be fully fortified.

Consider this…
Have you ever dipped bread into tea? When you did, did you observed the bread become soggy, and break into the tea?

That bread was conquered by water, because it is a dead bread.

There is however another bread- the Living Bread- which conquers water.

Jn 6: 48
I am that bread of life

I am the Bread of Life [that gives life- the Living Bread] [AMP]

This is the beginning of the message that caused many to turn from following Christ. As you consider today’s teaching, open your mind, and be willing to change your perceptions.

The opposite of the Living Bread is a dead bread.
Now, if the Living Bread gives life, the dead bread gives death.

The Scriptures say that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matt 4:4)

Now, Jesus, the Word made flesh, is the Living Bread. Every word He speaks gives life- in knowledge, power, mysteries.
The man who eats the Word, that is, Jesus, the Living Bread, will live.

This makes the devil the dead bread. Every word from him is a death-giving word.

Jn 7: 38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water

As there are rivers of living waters, so also are there rivers of dead waters.

So, we have the Living Bread- Jesus Christ; and living water- the Spirit of Christ.
We also have dead bread- the devil; and dead water- the spirit of the devil.

He that follows the devil will therefore have rivers of dead water flowing from his belly.

What you eat and drink will therefore determine what your life produces.
The man who eats Christ, and drinks His Spirit will generate life in every area.
As for the man who eats the word of the devil, and drinks his spirit, he will generate dead things.

As a Christian, you will therefore do well to eat the Word, and drink the Spirit, very well.

Eccl 11: 1-8
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

This is not a call for seed sowing.
It is, instead, a charge to cast the Word upon the waters, because it is the only Bread that cannot be conquered by waters.

Do you remember how, while the Living Bread slept, water entered into His boat; but when He awoke, the water ceased at His rebuke? (Mk 4:36-39)

This shows you that waters will invade your life, as long as the Living Bread- the Word- is asleep in you. Waters will overtake a church where the Living Bread is asleep.

Oh! But in the life, home, church and business where He is alert and active, it is a wonderfully different story.

Do you remember that the Bread also walked on water? (Matt 14:25) He had gone to the mountain to pray, and in the evening, when the waters troubled the disciples, He returned from the mountain, and walked upon the waters; that it might be fulfilled, cast thy bread upon the waters…

Brethren, the wicked will continue to have the upper hand, as long as you cast dead bread at them.

However, when you cast the Living Bread upon the dead waters, no power, no devil, no situation will escape; and when the enemy comes like a flood, the Living Flood will be there to raise a standard against them.

Cast the Word on the waters. After many days, you will find it.
Pray now. Pray with the Word.
You will get the results after many days.
Prayer never expires. Many of us are, today, enjoying the fruit of past prayers.

Cast the Living Bread over sickness, household powers, unpleasant situations…you will find it after many days.

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

This is a call to persist in prayer; a call to keep the fire of prayer burning.

Cast the Bread upon the waters, and keep at it for 7 days, for the Word says, …do not give God rest, until He establishes what He promised. (Isa 62:7)
One of the breaches in the Christian beauty, is laziness in the place of prayer. Many do not understand the place of tarrying in the prayer.

As you round up your 7-day programme, do not be discouraged when God tells you to keep going, until the 8th, 9th, 14th, 21st, or 30th day; or for even longer.

When you continue in prayer, you ensure that, no matter what the future holds, you have settled matters in your favour.

If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth…

Brethren, fill the clouds with your prayers. When heaven is full of your prayers, there will be a rain of answered prayers upon your world. Keep praying until you see the outpouring of answers to your petitions.

…and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.

When you cut down evil powers in your world, they will remain cut. However, in the life of the man that has refused to cast the Bread and tarry in prayer, those evil powers will still remain standing.

You will no longer suffer what others suffer; what troubles them will not trouble you, because you have cut down the wicked.

He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap…

Do not wait for the evil day to take you by unawares. Do not expect that you will be able to pray on that day, because the evil day will confuse you.

A wise man prepares for the unguarded hour in the time of peace, filling up the clouds with water in anticipation of the evil day. Therefore, when the dead waters come, they will find him prepared to resist and rebuke them.
In the morning, sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

When the seed of God remains in you, you will not commit sin. (I Jn 3:9)
You will find the Bread in the Seed.
Sow the seed of prayer, day and night; and your life will never remain the same.

Do not hold back in the place of prayer. Believe that your prayers- all alike- shall be good.

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:
But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.

Now, praying without ceasing seems like a stressful business; especially when there is so much to enjoy. But the Scripture cannot be broken.
Pleasure is indeed sweet. However, if you all you do is live for pleasurable moments, please remember the days of darkness.

Brethren, the days of darkness shall be many.
O, and until you have received the capacity to overcome these dark days, you have not yet begun to live life. Whatever life you thought you had lived is vanity.

Lk 22: 49-53
When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

Christ went up to Gethsemane with 3 of His disciples. While there, He spoke specifically to Peter about watching and praying with Him for an hour.

When Judas arrived with the capture team, the disciples realised that something was wrong. Then, they prayed, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
Jesus did not answer; but he did something anyways- he cut off a man’s ear.

The wonder is: why did they not pray for strength to pray earlier?

Whenever you fail to pray at the right time, the unguarded hour will surprise you; and at that time, you will desire Christ to speak, but He will not.

This is why people fall into error.
Their failure to prepare for that unguarded hour makes them victims of confusion. As they seek to act without divine permission, they fall into error.

And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

It is time to stop that nonsense.
Stop living contrary to divine permission.
Stop being unprepared in the Word and prayer.
Stop that nonsense.

They Jesus said…when I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

When I was with you day after day in the temple[enclosure], you did not stretch forth [your] hands against Me. But this is your hour- and the power [which] darkness [gives you has its way] [AMP]

The Master knew the unguarded hour, and was prepared for it. The same could not be said for the disciples; it caught them completely off-guard.

Brethren, do not let the power of darkness infiltrate your life.
The wise prepare for, and conquer all those who work in the power that darkness gives, by casting their bread upon the waters, day and night, for as many days as is necessary, until the clouds be full of rain.

PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Fire of prayer, take over my life.
Raw fire of God, to bring wicked powers down; take over my life.
Any negative power on appointment against my life; you are a liar. Bow by fire.
Any power on appointment against my life and destiny; hear the Word of the LORD. Bow by fire.
Every work of darkness against my life; hear the word of the LORD. I conquer you by fire.
Every agenda of darkness on my way this year; I bring you down by fire.

THE MYSTERY OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY: CHECK THE FOUNDATION

PASTOR’S CORNER
THE MYSTERY OF THE BREACH IN THE BEAUTY
CHECK THE FOUNDATION
REFERENCES: EZEKIEL 16:1-15, MARK 9: 49-50, PROVERBS 26: 20, EXODUS 3: 2-4

Eze 16: 1-15
Again, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, And say, Thus saith the LORD God unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.

A Christian is work of beauty (Eph 2:10). However, in the lives of many Christians, there are breaches in their beauty.

When you see immorality, bitterness, malice, deceit, spousal violence, negative addictions, thievery, powerlessness… in the house of God, it is sign that there are breaches in the lives of God’s people.
These are breaches that we must deal with- the errors that are contrary to God’s beautiful masterplan for our lives- so that we can stand the test of time.

When a beautiful building begins to reveal cracks in its structure, it is a sign that something is wrong with it; and the first place to look at/into is the foundation of the building.

Abraham did not come from Canaan. His descendants were therefore not Canaanites by birth. They simply came to the land.
However, they failed to destroy all the gods of the land; and now, God is revealing that the gods of the land have taken over the children of Israel.

Brethren, there is a strange force behind every strange action in you; a power that is claiming ownership, and control over your life.

And say, Thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem [representing Israel]: Your [spiritual] origin and your birth are thoroughly Canaanitish; your [spiritual] father was an Amorite and your [spiritual] mother a Hittite. [AMP]

God laments the He could no longer trace them to Abraham or Sarah. Instead, their actions and nature reflected the ways of the Amorites and Hittites; the ways of the gods of the land of Canaan.
Although they were the physical offspring of Abraham, there were powers claiming spiritual parenthood over their lives.

Then, He reveals the mystery behind the confusion…

And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut…

And as for your birth, on the day you were born your navel cord was not cut… [AMP]

When they were born in Canaan, the spirits in the land took over them. They came to their parents, who received and worshipped the devils.
This gave the devils access to claim spiritual ownership over their lives and that of their children.

Sadly, the cord connecting the children to the powers of the land was not cut off at the time of their birth, and this gave the devils claim over their children as well.

When you find that you are still connected to old houses, villages or homelands- where you were born; that you still go back there in your dreams, it is a sign that the cord connecting you to the evil powers in these places has not be cut.

No one helped to disconnect your soul from the ancestral powers of that land, and now, they claim to be source of your life.

Brethren, consider. Who is claiming ownership of your life, or the lives of your spouse or children? What ancestral, territorial or familiar spirit is insisting that it has parental rights over you or your household?

Consider your life as well: if you struggle to walk in the reality of your new birth in Christ: to pray, to be holy, to love the things of God; then know that there is a force claiming to be the source of your life, and fighting to assert its dominance over you. That is the power keeping you from being on fire in Christ.
So, you are born again; yet, you act, think, speak like your mother. It is a sign that your pastor did not cut the navel cord that connected you to her, at the time of your new birth.

…neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee

When a new born is being bathed in this part of the world, the muscles and limbs are massaged and stretched respectively, to ensure that the child is flexible as he grows. The process is not fun for the child, but is necessary.

When you observe that you are rigid in your perceptions and judgements, it is a sign that no one took the time to work your spiritual muscles and bones in Christ. No one applied the water of the Word to your heart and mind, to ensure that they are receptive to God’s dynamic way; flexible for Him to move, turn and direct you as He pleases.
These are words that will make you cry for a while, but will ultimately give you a heart and mind that are flexible and ever useful in the hands of God.

…thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

You talk, and the stench of your old life ooze from your words.
It shows that no one applied salt to your life. The smell of your old life was not washed off you…
Neither were you covered.

None eye pitied thee, to do any of the these unto the, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of any person, in the day that thou wast born.

God expects that there would be a man- a pastor- to do all these in your life.
The man who takes up the responsibility understands that, failing to do any of these four things will cause a breach in your life.

And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live…
Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
Then washed I thee with water; yea, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil. I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk…

Now, God has washed and covered the once polluted Israel, thus doing two of the four things that was not done to her at her birth.

Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy rainment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.
And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

Her beauty shone because of His work upon her…

But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornication on every one that passed by; his it was.

However, the vile spiritual power claiming parenthood over her manifested in her, and Israel went into spiritual harlotry and fornication.

Her beauty shone, but so also did her breaches.

Mk 9: 49-50
For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

The salt is the fire of God
In the Kingdom, you need someone to add the real fire of God to your life. When you have the fire, your life is made beautiful; without it, your life will be full of breaches.

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

If salt- that is the fire- can lose its saltiness, it means it is possible for the fire to lose its burning heat.

When your prayer does not generate the burning heat of the divine fire, it is a sign that something is wrong- there is a breach somewhere.

The same applies to a home or church where the fire no longer burns. It means that there is a breach therein.

How does it happen? How does fire lose its burning?

Pro 26: 20
Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out…
For lack of wood the fire goes out… [AMP]

The wood sustains the burning of the fire.
When the wood is taken out of the fire, the fire stops burning.

The wood is the Word of God.
When the Word is taken out of a life, a home, a church, a business…the Fire loses its burning.

Whatever keeps you from the love, study, meditation of the Word of God, and from praying with the Word of God; that thing desires to quench the Fire in your life.

Sadly, this generation have no love for the Word.
They are born again, but no one taught them to love the Word. Therefore, they are anointed but frustrated; they bear the stench of their old lives and are full of breaches.

The devil keeps men from the Word, so that he can continue to claim ownership over their lives. Since they do not have the divine mystery working for them, they will be unable to silence his claim.

May you love the Word.

Ex 3: 2-4
And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

God, in the angel, appeared to Moses, and spoke to him out of the place of the Wood and the Fire.

This generation will be delivered of deceit and selfish manipulations, when they decide to go back to the Word and Prayer.
When a man gives himself to the Word, uses the Word in prayer, and continues in the Word; he will never lack the fire.

Now, unto such a man, in whom the Word and Prayer are found, God will appear.

Where there is no wood and fire, God will not appear.

And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

The fire burned, but the wood was not consumed by it.
Brethren, when you give yourself wholly to the Word and prayer, you will never do contrary to the Word of God.

And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

The voice of the LORD will only come out of the wood. God will only speak to you from His Word.

Love the Word.
Live the Word. Adjust to the Word.
When you do, God will call your name from the Book. Your life will no longer be like those around you, for the standard for your life will be the Word.
Then, as you see the Word, you become like Him; declaring that you have come, as it written of you in the volume of the Book.

As you investigate the foundation of your life, be bold to look into the Word, for in it lies the true picture of your life. Therein, you will behold your true state: you will see the breaches that mar your beauty; you will locate the source of the breach; and you will find the key to repairing the breach.

When you love the Word and apply it in prayer, God will appear, and your life shall be made truly beautiful indeed.

PRAYER POINTS
In the name of Jesus,
Raw fire of God, arise in my life. Possess me now.
Fire of God, cover me now.
Gifts of God in my life; awake and arise by fire.
Any evil stranger, claiming to my spiritual origin; I destroy you by fire.
Any negative spirit- ancestral or territorial, claiming to be the spiritual origin of my life; you are a liar. I silence you by fire.
Any ancestral power working tirelessly to quench God’s fire in my life; I slay you by fire.
My Father, appear in my life.

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST: APPLYING THE STRENGTH OF DIVINE ORDINANCES

PASTOR’S CORNER

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST:

APPLYING THE STRENGTH OF DIVINE ORDINANCES

REFERENCES: JOB 38:33, COLOSSIANS 2:14, JOSHUA 1:3,5

If you will conquer in Christ, you need to apply the strength of divine ordinances. An ordinance refers to a law or principle, the strength of which can be applied to situations. However, you can only apply the strength of an ordinance that you understand.

Job 38:33

Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

The dominion refers to the power inherent in every ordinance. The wise man speaking to Job in this scripture reveals to him that there are ordinances of heaven. Now, these ordinances are above the ordinances of this world.

Therefore, when you experience the negative effect of an evil ordinance, you will do well to seek and apply the dominion of a divine ordinance against it. This is the way to enforce the will of God on earth; by displaying the power of divine ordinances.

Col 2:14

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Not only do ordinances have dominion, they also have handwritings. This means that an ordinance can write something for, or against a man.

A Christian, a member of TRPM, who walks and lives contrary to divine principles, frustrates the handwriting of divine ordinances over his life.

He will discover that he is not making progress as expected; because he has frustrated the strength of a divine ordinance by failing to do the work of the Word.

However, as long as he follows me as I follow Christ; as long as he does what I do- studying, fasting, praying, giving, walking in love- he will also enjoy what I enjoy in Christ.

The ordinances referred to above had writings against Christians. They were contrary to God’s people.

Thankfully, for every contrary ordinance against you, there is an ordinance written for you.

It is however important that you understand the mysteries- the ordinances- of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

These are the ordinances written for you, blotting out the writings of evil ordinances that were against you.

You have a responsibility to set the dominion- the power- of the ordinances in your life, family, household, and world.

Josh 1: 3, 5

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

When you experience attacks in a new territory, by marriage for instance, it is not time to bemoan your fate or blame your spouse. You only need to understand and apply the power of a divine ordinance over that territory.

When you set the dominion of the ordinance in the above scripture in your territory, with understanding, you expose every contrary power therein for what they really are: strangers and trespassers. Why?

It has been established before the foundation of the world that the territory is yours.

When God set the boundaries of that territory, you were in His master plan; the devils weren’t. Besides, He, who is older than Abraham, is in you. What personality is older than Him?

Therefore, you are older than those powers, and have the right of place in that territory.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life...

God is letting you know that, in your journey, you will encounter a man, who will stand before you, with the intent of stopping you.

The man is on his feet, yet God says he will not be able to stand before you, all the days of your life. This can refer to the number of days you spend in that territory. As long as you are there, they cannot stand before you.

This means that he will remain standing as long as he does not dare to stand against you. At the point when he makes that decision, he will surely fall.

...as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

These words were spoken in the days of Moses, and reaffirmed in the days of Joshua. You will do well to set the power thereof over your life as well.

Esth 6: 13

And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.

Haman was recounting the things that had happened to him because he dared to stand against Mordecai- a seed of the Jews.

His wise men, and wife, knew enough of the ordinances of heaven to understand that his staggering was the beginning of his end, because there is a divine ordinance stating that there shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life...

Therefore, any man that dares to stand before a seed of the Jews, for whom the ordinance was written, staggers to fall.

So it was that Haman staggered to his death. The strength of the ordinance was so great that, even when he sought to beg the queen, it caused him to fall before her in a compromising manner, causing the wrath of the king to run over against him; contrary to him.

The ordinances of heaven are written for you, in your favour. Search them out. Understand them. Set the dominion thereof in your world.

Watch your foes stagger and fall before you.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Raw fire of God, possess me now.
  • Evil ordinances blocking my way; fire of God, happen to them now.
  • Activities of evil ordinances (in my household, in-laws’ household) blocking my way; raw fire of God, happen to them now.
  • Activities of evil ordinances happening in my body; fire of God, happen to them now.
  • Evil personalities standing, anywhere, to stop me; fire of God, happen to them all

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST: OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL LAW OF GOD (B)

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST:

OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL LAW OF GOD (B)

REFERENCES:  ROMANS 1:3-4, COLOSSIANS 2:10-12, PHILIPPIANS 3:11-15, JOHN 20: 19, 26; JOHN 21:1-14

Whoever will conquer in Christ must operate in the supernatural law of God. David operated in this law when he picked up stones and declared to Goliath what his end would be.

A firm understanding of this principle will cause you to experience the personal deliverance to break free of every limiting mindset, and be empowered to do the unusual in your world. You will live a life that cannot be shut up by any devil.

You will also move from the realm of merely quoting the Scriptures, to the realm where you walk in the Scriptures and in the manifestation of the truths therein.

Rom 1: 3-4

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

According to the flesh, Christ was made the seed of David, and while in the world, He answered to that name. When blind Bartimeaus called out to Him, He turned and healed him.

However, when He resurrected from the dead, He was declared to be the Son of God. By reason of His resurrection from the dead, His identify changed; His destiny was redefined.

No wonder the apostles could boldly declare that He was the Lord of David- His maker- and not his son. David did not resurrect but Jesus did.

As the Son of David, He would have seen corruption like David, but He did not, because He is the Son of God.

Col 2:10-12

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

During the process of being immersed in water for baptism, you do not die in the water, physically. Yet, by reason of going into the water in the name of the Lord, and rising out of it, you were buried, and are risen with Christ.

The baptism is your declaration that you died when He died, were buried when He was buried, and rose again when He resurrected.

Your presence here today is a testimony to your resurrection.

You need to understand this divine operation- that you came out of the water to live a life beyond limitation; to live a life that is beyond the reach of limiting forces, because, when He resurrected, no power could hold down, keep back or limit Christ.

Paul is teaching us that, by the operation of God, we died, and are risen with Christ. We only activated this when we went through baptism.

Phil 3:11-15

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Consider this. The same Paul that reveals that we are complete in Christ and resurrected with Him, is now saying, ‘If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead’.

He was acknowledging that he was yet to get that place.

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

This means that he was ready to do whatever it takes to get to the realm- the level, dimension, an atmosphere in God- called the resurrection of the dead.

In our part of the world, there have been stories of people confessing to killings because they were being chased and tormented by the spirit of their victims.

The question to ask is: if the dead persons were so powerful, why were they killed at all?

The answer: when a man dies and resurrects, all powers become subject to him.

The reason many Christians still live defeated and harassed lives is because, although they truly died, they are yet to resurrect from the dead.

Such a man lives in complete variance to his testimony of salvation because there are powers still raging against him, declaring to him that he will not enjoy all that accompanies salvation.

They can afflict and oppress him because he is yet to resurrect from the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Acknowledging that he had not yet attained the resurrection of the dead, Paul declares that he follows after- pursues that vision- for a purpose: in order to apprehend that- the reason- for which he was apprehended.

Brethren, the only way for you to lay hold of the fullness of your assignment- your destiny- is to get to the place of the resurrection of the dead.

It is at this place that you get to know God’s purpose for apprehending you, for frustrating you from the old way, and causing you to turn to His kingdom.

Only a Christian who has died to sin can seek to attain to the resurrection of the dead. Sadly, many people come to church, still carrying the baggage of their old life with them.

They expect God to carry them and their mess. They desire Him to work miracles in their lives while they hold on to the rubbish in them.

Such people are yet to die; meaning that resurrection is not on their radar.

When a Christian understands that Christ took hold of him for a reason, he will not rest until he understands the purpose and sees it fulfilment.

Every Christian should ask God: why did you save me? What exactly have you called me to see in You? Asking such questions will lead to the place of the resurrection of the dead-to the place where your past life no longer has the power to dominate, control or define you.

Only a man who knows that Christ has taken hold of him will seek to know the reason for his divine arrest, and fight to take hold of it as well.

TRPM can boldly charge you to take your lives and destinies seriously because we know why we were apprehended as a church. We were arrested to apprehend something.

You are brought here, not to make up the numbers, or fulfil social obligations; but to gain victory over every evil that has been bragging, boasting in your household and world.

You are arrested by Jesus to deal with them; and you are here to walk in the consciousness of that revelation, and work it out.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded...

This is a clarion call to everyone who is destiny-minded; everyone who is serious about knowing and apprehending the purpose for their salvation.

Let your mind be set on getting to the place of the resurrection of the dead, so that, in that place, you may apprehend that for which Christ apprehended you.

Those who come to church to seek wealth, spouses, social standing, business connections, or to simply be identified with a place of worship cannot heed this call.

...and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

To as many of the perfect who have become otherwise minded- distracted from this call- may God reveal this to you now.

You do not need to die physically to get to the place where you become a terror to the wicked. You simply need to die spiritually, and resurrect in Christ. When you get to that place, every devil will flee before you.

Jn 20: 19, 26

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Jesus had resurrected from the death after 3 days; on the evening of the same day, He had gone to seek out His disciples.

The men He sought had shut themselves up. Their doors were shut for fear of being killed by the Jews.

These were men who cast out devils and witnessed the miracles wrought by Christ; yet they shut their doors out of fear of men.

Many Christians are likewise shut up, in their minds. They do not have the capacity to think productively because their mental ability has been limited.

So many destinies have been shut down because their minds have been shut in. They cannot do exploits until their minds are released.

Thankfully, shut doors were not a problem for Jesus- the Risen One.

When you get to the place of the resurrection of the dead, there are things that do not bother, scare or discourage you.

You definitely can no longer be kept out of your divine blessings by shut doors; they do not have the capacity to keep you out.

You do not have to wonder about prosperity because the lines simply fall for you in pleasant places;

Jesus did not bother knocking on any of the doors; He just walked through them and spoke peace to the troubled group. He even showed them the scars of His nailed hands; and they were glad.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Now, one would expect that the gladness of their hearts meant they were ready to step out of hiding and resume their ministry work.

Sadly, this was not the case. 8 days later, the men who had been glad at His appearance and charge, were still locked up in that house!

Christ returned to the same scenario: His trained men were still shut up by fear. They had not bothered to go out.

And while this was going on, 8 days had been lost of His 40-day teaching schedule with them.

At this time, Jesus went back to pray.

You should not waste time complaining about the behaviour, attitude or failings of your spouse, children, colleagues, superiors or subordinates.

Understand that a mind that has been shut down will not respond as it should. It is a waste.

Christ could see that the minds of His disciples had been shut down; and nothing He said would matter. Not even their excitement at His resurrection could make them step out. He did not waste time complaining about their behaviour. He went to a place to pray.

Jn 21:1-14

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

And Jesus returned, a third time. This time, 7 of the disciples were going fishing.

The leader of the pack was Peter.

After two powerful visitations from the risen Christ- beholding His walk through locked doors, seeing His scarred hands, and hearing His voice as He spoke peace, and sent them out- he was nowhere near his assignment.

He went a-fishing, and 6 other men went with him.

Many Christians are also far from their calling because they are paralysed by fear: of ancestral powers, and of men. They might not be physically locked up in a room with doors, but their minds are...

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. (14)

It took 3 attempts by Christ, each preceded by prayers, before He could get the minds of His disciples open to Him.

Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. (5-8)

Consider this.

The same Peter that could not be bothered by the first two visitations of Christ was suddenly so excited to see the Master that he could not wait for the ship to get to shore. He jumped into the sea and swam ashore.

It was at this third time that their minds were open. They could see Him now; at the other times, something kept them from going after Christ the first two times.

He spoke to men that had walked with Him for 3 ½ years; but the fear of men shut up their minds and kept them shut in; from seeing Him.

Do not complain when men do not acknowledge your assignment, even in their lives. It is simple because the god of this world has blinded their minds, keeping them from acknowledging and hearkening unto you.

When a mind is shut down, destiny is shut down as well. Many are in destiny but they are not operating therein.

These men were resurrected men, but their minds were shut down.

This means that you must not only get to the place of the resurrection of the dead, you must also deal with any power fighting to shut in your minds against your destiny; or shut in the minds of men against you.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Raw fire of God, possess my mind to function at full capacity.
  • Every attack of the wicked to shut down my mind in my destiny; I scatter and destroy your power by fire.
  • Any power that has vowed to shut down my mind in destiny; I scatter and destroy you by fire.
  • Every attack of the wicked to shut down the minds of people against me; I destroy you by fire.
  • Any power attacking the minds of people against my destiny; I crush you by fire.
  • Every door shut against me; open by fire now.

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST: LOCATING THE MISSING THING THROUGH CHRIST

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST:

LOCATING THE MISSING THING THROUGH CHRIST

REFERENCES: JOHN 8: 12, DEUTERONOMY 8:18, LUKE 19: 5-10, ECCLESIASTES 5: 9-10; 13-15; 19

No Christian is destined for a life of poverty, sickness or misery.

Christ declares that those who follow Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (Jn 8:12). The light is to illuminate the affected life and ensure that nothing is missing therein. (Lk15: 8).

In the life of every Christian who is poor, sick or miserable, there is a missing thing.

Deut 8: 18

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth

God gives you the power to get wealth. So, if wealth is missing in your life, you go to Him to locate it.

Lk 19: 5-10

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

God does not hate anyone. Although He hates sin, He loves sinners and calls them to repentance. Jesus looked up and saw what He was looking for- a missing man.

When He saw Zacchaeus up on the tree, He called to him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

When Zacchaeus heard the call, he made haste, and came down, and received him [Jesus] joyfully.

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

They did not see ‘him’; they saw ‘it’.

The people saw a Man looking for a man. They saw a Man locating and calling a sinner to Himself, and it caught their attention.

When you call out to the missing thing in your life, when you locate your destiny helpers and they come to you, men will see ‘it’.

And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

It is not possible for a missing man to do the right thing while he is still on a ‘missing’ journey. Therefore, Zacchaeus’ promise of restitution was simply a display of religious zeal without knowledge, because he was not yet saved.

Zacchaeus did not have the capacity to say the right thing because he was still lost, and his assumption, that he was called by Jesus so that he would make restitution, was wrong.

He was called because he was a missing man.

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Salvation precedes good works.

Jesus clarifies the matter: ‘Zacchaeus, salvation comes to your house this day, not because of what you have promised to do, but because you are also a son of Abraham.’

This was Christ’ claim on Zacchaeus: he was a son of Abraham, and therefore a part of Jesus. So, when Jesus located him up on that tree, He did not hesitate to call him to Himself.

This is your job as well in Christ. Like Jesus, you are to seek and save that (in your destiny, household and world) which was lost. You are to locate whatever is missing in life- the absence of which is making the journey of your life miserable- and call it to yourself.

Jesus, led by the Holy Ghost, looked up and saw a man on the tree; when He saw him, He believed that this was a missing man; and with His mouth, He called the missing man to Himself.

This is how you save; by seeing it, believing it is yours, and declaring it- you see the missing thing, you believe it is a part of you, and you call it to yourself.

You say to the missing thing, ‘you belong to me. Make haste and come to me’.

Let this inform your approach to the Word. Come to the Word to seek out the missing thing in your life- the missing health, wealth, power, progress, promotion, favour, peace- and locate it. When you do, believe that it is for you as much as it is for any other Christian, and call it to yourself; and it shall respond.

Do not for any reason believe the lie that the thing is meant for others, but not for you.

Eccl 5: 9-10

Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.

Consider this carefully: the profit of the earth- whole world- is for ALL. The profit of this nation is for all.

That includes you. There is no tenable excuse for living in, and remaining in poverty, because God has declared you a candidate for financial prosperity.

He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.

However, a man’s focus will greatly determine whether he prospers financially or not.

You love God, not money.

When a man loves money, he will not get it.

Love God and you will be satisfied with riches and abundance. It is to the man who seeks first His kingdom and righteousness that riches and abundance will come.

Eccl 5: 13-15, 19

There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.

The preacher calls this a terrible evil.

A man desires to speak with the confidence and fluency of the educated; a mother deprives herself of the basic needs so that her children can have the education and opportunities she did not.

These are men and women who were destined to be educated, but something kept them from their destinies.

They were deprived of their destinies because the enemy found a way to make their parents incapable...

It is a sore evil when a man’s desire and labour are rendered useless because his riches have been kept, for him, to his own hurt.

We have already established that God gives the power to get wealth. Therefore, to everyone called by God, there is an apportioned power to prosper financially.

This man therefore has riches, but there are evil personalities who have the power to take the riches as a substance and keep it. They claim to keep it for the owner; except that it is done without the owner’s knowledge or approval.

So, he rises early, works hard all day, returns home late, and he has nothing to show for his labour.

While he toils physically, expecting the manifestation of the divine promise of prosperity in his life, he is unaware that there is spiritual labour he must invest in; for until he does, his efforts will be in vain, and his expectations frustrated.

He labours in vain because the divine plan of God for him has been hijacked on earth (under the sun) and kept somewhere.

His riches remain unavailable to him, kept to his hurt.

Sadly, if he tarries too long, those riches will perish- destroyed by evil powers.

And, when he becomes a father, he has nothing to give to his son.

This is a sore evil: when a parent is rendered financially impotent, such that he has nothing to take care of his children with.

This is why spiritual laziness is a great tragedy. When a Christian fails to acknowledge and take up the responsibility of travailing in the study of the Word, in fasting and prayer until he has located and saved all that belongs to him in Christ, he denies himself, and his children access to the full content of their destinies.

A spiritually diligent man will look into the divine master plan, and seek and save that which is missing- the glory, favour, honour, longevity, wealth, joy, fruitfulness- in his family. Such a man cannot but make a mark in the fabric of time.

That is why you are here: to make that mark. While on this journey, be careful not to mind your opposition. Set your sights on the missing thing and do not lose your focus in getting it back.

As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.

This man labours but he is unable to take anything of his labour because the riches thereof have been kept to his hurt.

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

This is the original intent of God. He does not just give riches and wealth to every man. His gift also includes the power to eat of the riches and wealth; to take his portion- your wealth- thereof, and also rejoice in his labour (no bread of sorrows, please).

You will not just have the blessing; you will also receive the capacity to enjoy the blessing. None of your portion will be kept from you and you will not despair in labour.

Such a man will not struggle to be a blessing to his children, or labour in vain. He will have enough to leave as an inheritance to his grandchildren.

This principle applies to every area of life. Find the missing thing in your life and family: spiritual, financial, marital, in business, ministerial, in leadership. Locate and call them to you.

Claim your right to get profit in all your labour; fight for the power to take your full portion and enjoy all your labour under the sun.

Do not be spiritually lazy. Do not be content to be diligent in labour without diligently seeking to receive your portion.

You are not called to vanity, but to victory.

Remember that adversity is to make you strong, not to destroy you. Take up the challenge: seek out all that is missing in your household and save them all.

Come to the Word to seek the missing thing

See the missing thing

Call the missing thing

Do it now!

  • Holy Ghost, open my eyes to see the missing thing; open my ears to hear the missing thing; open my heart to understand the missing thing.
  • Holy Ghost, help me to take back the missing thing.
  • My life, I charge you; receive sufficient power, wisdom and capacity discover and recover the missing thing. Receive the power to locate and recover all that the enemy has kept away from me.

  • My divine portion; wherever you are; I locate you now.
  • My divine portion; I summon you now. I command you to locate me now.

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST: UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL AWARENESS (C)

CALLED TO CONQUER IN CHRIST

UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL AWARENESS (C)

REFERENCES: HEBREWS 9:24, HEBREWS 7:25-26, ROMANS 8: 26, ISAIAH 13: 3,2

Heb 9: 24

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us

Christ is in heaven, in the presence of God, interceding for us; for everyone for whom He died.

He prayed before His death. Even now, He appears in the presence of God for you.

Heb 7: 25-26

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens

Christ stands in the presence of God, continuing -forever- to intercede for those for whom He died for one purpose.

The Bible declares that, by this means, He is able to save to the uttermost- completely, totally, without restrictions or limitations- all that come to God through Him.

On the cross, He prayed for you. Now, He stands before God and still prays for you. Why? Because you are precious to Him...

You see, the power of Christ was not limited to the salvation from sin. He also has power to save from hell, error, loss, shame, limitations, frustration, disgrace, poverty, sickness, calamities, disasters and death. He has power to save in every situation and out of every evil circumstance.

He works out our salvation by continuing to intercede for us.

Consider the principle. A man who will save another completely must live to intercede.

He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has now been set apart from sinners, and he has been given the highest place of honor in heaven. (NLT)

Every child needs a kind of father; every man needs a kind of pastor; every daughter needs a kind of mother...the kind that will stand in the place of intercessory prayer for his or her wards and flock with a record of holiness and blamelessness.

Everyone needs a kind of leader that spends not just his substance and attention, but also his time in prayer for them.

Christ is the example. He gave His life for mankind, paying the price of their sins, and for their salvation. When He was leaving, He promised to send another Comforter, and He made good on His word.

Yet, in heaven, He is still giving Himself for them through prayers. He does not berate those for whom He died for under utilising His great sacrifice; He just keeps praying.

Do not waste time complaining by how unappreciative your spouse, children or other loved ones are of your efforts and sacrifices. Do what Jesus Christ did instead; live to intercede for them.

Also consider this: if Christ is standing before God, interceding for you to overcome poverty, shame, disgrace, limitations, sicknesses... why then should you remain in any of these situations?

Rom 8: 26- 27

Christ’s promise of another Comforter would have seemed to imply that He was passing on the baton of work. But that was not the reality.

While others die to rest, Christ died, resurrected and ascended to continue the work of saving us; He continues to intercede.

Many parents are too lazy to understand the responsibility that comes with their titles. They do not yet understand how a parent- mother or father- should be. They busy themselves with complaints about their children, when they should be living to intercede for them in the presence of God.

While on earth, Christ gave all for the people. He talked to them about God; spent 40 days talking to His disciples about the Kingdom; and imparting on them the spirit of understanding. And, when the day of Pentecost was fully come, His promise of another Comforter was realised. Yet, He still stands in God’s presence and tells Him about the people!

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

While He intercedes in heaven, He sent the Holy Ghost to help us. Our shallow knowledge makes us weak in the place of prayer. Therefore, the Holy Ghost helps us by enabling us to generate the potency that our prayer lives need.

So, the Owner of the Spirit is praying; and the Spirit is praying. Why then are you not doing the same? To fail to pray is to make yourself your own worst enemy.

The Church is spiritually lazy because she has failed to see that her Saviour is still doing the work of prayer. Christ’s ability to save us to the uttermost should have us walking in victory, divine protection and dominion at all times. Sadly, that is not the case with many Christians.

The intercession of Christ and the groaning of the Holy Ghost are for one purpose.

The Spirit groans because He is under pressure.

When He sees that a Christian is in danger, He groans under the pressure of that revelation. He groans within the Christian to move him to pray. Remember, Christ is already interceding for that man before God. As He groans in heaven, the Spirit picks up the signal and groans in the man to stir him up to prayer.

When the man yields to this divine pressure and prays, he aligns himself with the intercessory prayer going on before God on his behalf, and prays according to the will of God.

Sadly many fail to connect to the groaning of the Spirit. While Christ talks to the Father on his behalf; while the Spirit of Christ groans in him, the man is too busy with distracting activities. His TV and phones; his comfort and sleep keep him from being sensitive, and responsive to the Spirit’s groaning.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

This is how God saves us. Christ prays to the Father on our behalf, and the Spirit, on receiving the signal of impending evil, groans in us to stir us to pray. When we yield to Him, we make sure the will of the enemy does not stand.

Christ speaks to the Father according to the will of the Father, bringing to remembrance the substitutionary sacrifice He made on behalf of the saint, in obedience to the Father. As He intercedes, the Spirit agrees with Him and groans within the saint to lead him also to prayer.

Thus it is that in the mouth of divine witnesses, the matter is already being presented to the Father, waiting for the third witness- you.

Isa 13: 3,2

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

This is my mission.

I am called to raise mighty men in God, who will conquer every evil in their household. I am called to raise men who will express His anger over poverty, sickness, death, loss in their household and execute His judgement upon them.

You are here to trample upon and destroy every reign of evil in your household to the praise of God’s greatness.

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

This is a call to action directed to leaders. It is a charge to pastors, fathers, mothers; those who have the responsibility over those who are refusing to walk in the divine will for their lives.

Historically, God was speaking to Isaiah about the fall of Babylon. He then gives the prophet a charge: go up to the high mountain, lift up a  banner there, raise your voice unto the Medes and Persians, beckon them with your hands and summon them, directing them to go to war against the Babylonians and pull them down.

Isaiah did not have to go the land of Medes and Persia. He did not need physical contact with them.

He simply obeyed the command and it was so, that Babylon fell to Medes and Persia.

Is there any Babylon that must fall as it concerns the lives of your children, spouse or congregation? In your business, career or ministry? Or is there a divinely appointed direction you desire them to follow?

If this could be done effectively to a nation that did not know the LORD, and they obeyed the call, not knowing what made them do so, how much more when you wield this key over your household, business, and ministry?

You do not need to be in physical contact or proximity to your children. You simply need to:

  • Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain: fast, pray
  • exalt the voice unto them: raise your voice and declare the divine judgement
  • shake the hand: summon them
  • that they may go into the gates of the nobles: and direct them accordingly.

You do this again, and again; summon them out of evil and into their divine place, until the will of God is enforced in your world- until total salvation is achieved.

I am also come to summon your life into its divine reality; to be all that God has called you to be; to go where He has called you to go; to conquer all that He has called you to conquer. I summon you to face every mountain you have been afraid to face, and overcome them all.

This call is to the nobles; those who will fight the enemies of God; those who will refuse to tolerate the reign of mediocrity in their world.

The Lord Jesus is groaning on your behalf in the presence of God

The Holy Ghost is groaning in you

It is time for you to take up the burden of your world; stand on the mountain and establish the divine order.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • I summon my soul; receive the raw fire of God to be all that I am called to be.
  • Raw fire of God, enter my life.
  • Every yearly evil event, sent against me this year; I summon you. Backfire.

APPLYING JUDGEMENT AGAINST JUDGEMENT IN THE SPIRIT: LAW PRECEDES JUDGEMENT (PART B)

PASTOR’S CORNER

APPLYING JUDGEMENT AGAINST JUDGEMENT IN THE SPIRIT:

LAW PRECEDES JUDGEMENT (PART B)

REFERENCES: JOB 24:1, ECCLESIASTES 7:10, ISAIAH 63:17-18, MATTHEW 22:29, DANIEL 7: 22-28

We learnt in the first part of this teaching that there can be no judgement without a law. We also learnt that our defence as Christians comes from this truth; Jesus destroyed principalities and powers by:

  1. cancelling my sins

  2. thrashing all record of my sins, and by

  3. frustrating all who desired to use the record again.

We start this teaching by considering some questions that were asked and answered in the Word.

In Job 24:1, the writer questions why the power of God is not as a reality in the lives of His people as it was in past times. The writer wonders why the people of God no longer see the days of His power. If He knows everything, why would He allow those who serve Him to be powerless?

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days? He asks.

Well, the Word gives the answer.

Eccl 7:10

Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these: for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.

This means that such a mindset is a product of lack of wisdom. Wise enquiry would have revealed that there is nothing wrong with the days. Rather, it is what man does, or fails to do, that determines the outcome of the days. The inability to conquer principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places will make a day evil. However, the man who puts on the whole Word of God will withstand them and maintain the integrity of the days.

When we walk in this understanding, knowing that every record of debt against us has been cancelled by Christ, we can confront any judgement against us with the confidence that records of ancestral sins no longer exist. Therefore, we can thrash every evil framed against us, and ensure our latter days are better the former.

Isa 63:17-18

O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened out heart from thy fear...

If it be far from God to do wickedness, how then could He be responsible for the error of His people? Yet the prophet of God is asking that question!

Matt 22:29

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Fault can never be traced back to God. Honest evaluation will place it squarely at the feet of man.

Christ shows us that lack of knowledge, of the Word and of God power, is the source of error. Men err and do not possess the real power of God for long because they lack the Word.

Show me a man who displays the real power of God, and I will show you a man who has the Word of God. Without the Word, he is merely displaying the gift, without the sustaining presence and power of the Giver.

Remember that no one gets to the Father- the Source of true power- except through Christ, who is the Word.

NO WORD, NO REAL POWER.

...the people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while...(v18)

Having the power of God is one thing; sustaining it is another story.

You get the power of God when you live in the Word. You sustain the power by remaining, abiding in the Word. Understand this: darkness does not need an invite into any place. It simply waits for the absence of light.

In the same way, the absence of the Word will lead to the absence of power, and inevitably the entrance of powerlessness and error.

Brethren, it is possible to be holy and yet lack the power of God.

These were the people of God (which means they were holy) but they moved out of the Word and lost the power.

The laws are simple:

  • you ensure the greater glory of your latter days through the power of God, and

  • you sustain the power in your life by remaining in the Word.

It is therefore unwise for a Christian to presume to walk in his own understanding. It is equally unwise for a Christian to accept any justification for staying away from the Word. To do any of these is to lose the power of God.

Indirectly, the devil applies a judgement against the man- since you can’t stay with the Word, you cannot retain the power.

Before we continue, let us take a moment to consider this: if you were your pastor, would you sit under your own ministration?

This is how I judge myself: would I love to have me as my pastor? If I were sitting in the congregation, what would I (the pastor) give to me? Would I be willing to accept me as spiritual father over my own life?

(I Cor 2:15)

I say this to emphasise that we do not gather at TRPM to fulfil religious traditions. We are here to do serious business, and it is best that we come with a heart that is ready to learn.

Dan 7: 22-28

Until the Ancient of days came, and judgement was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom...

Whenever divinity appears in humanity, it is to give a revelation of God’s judgement. A church that is full of activities, but lacking in the presence and revelation knowledge of God is a time-wasting gathering.

Without His appearing, and the revelation of judgement He gave, the saints could not possess the kingdom.

Now, in Isaiah, we learnt that they possessed it only for a while, because the revelation of God’s judgement ceased.

This means that God’s presence gives the judgement to reign in power; but the power will cease when His presence and revelation judgement cease.

...and he [the devil]shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High...

Every time God gives a judgement about your life, beware. The devil will also speak. He will speak, not to the Most High, but to negate His words in your life. For instance, if God gives a charge and blessing over your business, the devil will speak to frustrate that divine judgement.

This other voice, speaking negative words against God’s judgement, has a vision: to wear you out. The enemy fights to mount pressure on you, until you cave in. When you begin to doubt God’s word, and wonder at the faithfulness of His promises, the enemy sees his opportunity.

...and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Why is he working to wear out the saints? It is so that, peradventure, he may get the chance to change the times and seasons of your divine assignment. The devil’s plan is to make a 3-month journey drag on for 6 years. His hope is that, the length of days will make you question what you believe.

A word of wisdom: as you rejoice in the promises of God, you will do well to hold on to your sword, because there is a devil seeking to dry up your well of praise.

...and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The enemy also seeks to change, not only times, but also the law of God for His saints. He thinks to change the divine laws by delaying their manifestation in your life.

Now, God owns the times, but the devil seeks to manipulate the times and laws over your life. When he observes that your obedience to a divine law yields blessings, he seeks to make that law appear ineffective.

His plan is simple: to stand against what God has said to you, wear you out in time, and put a strain on your trust in God’s faithfulness. The strain is revealed in your language and your attitude to praise.

Once a saint confesses that God’s law no longer works, he has helped the devil’s case against him, and is sadly ensnared by his own words. He is given into the hands of his enemy by his own words.

Brethren, the Word works; prayer works. You must be resolute in your confessions and your walk.

But the judgement shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end...

This is the crux of the matter. You see, the judgement is already set. Whether you believe it or not, the judgement has already been given (v22).

The judgement of God against principalities and powers, against any power set against you, is has already been set. (Jn 12:31, Jn 16:11). There is a judgement set against every judgement set against you.

Remember the parable of the sower? The good sower planted the good seed before the enemy sowed tares.

That means that God (the good sower) had planted your destiny before the tares of evil were planted by the enemy. Therefore, your destiny is older than your enemies.

It is your responsibility to walk in understanding and take away the devil’s dominion over your life. The judgement has been given; use it. Wherever you perceive the dominion of the devil, take it away!

Take it away and destroy it, not just one time, but to the end. You keep at it until every trace of satanic dominion is destroyed in your life unto the end.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

This is your inheritance! All dominions, by whatever name they are called, and in whatever part of the world they operate from, must serve and obey you.

This is what will happen when you have consumed them to the end.

Hitherto is the end of the matter...

This is key to overcoming every battle and winning every war. You take away and destroy the dominion unto the end, and you will reign indeed.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Raw fire of God, possess my life.

  • Wicked power working tirelessly to change God’s times and laws for my life; I bind and destroy you by fire.

  • You dominion of darkness over my life, I take you away and destroy you by fire.

  • You dominion of the devil over my mind, I take you away and destroy you by fire.

  • Any wicked power appointed to change my times and seasons; I bring you down and destroy you by fire.

  • Any judgement fighting to change my times and seasons; I bind and destroy you by fire.

  • Any familiar and ancestral spirit monitoring my life, to frustrate my times and seasons; I bind and destroy you by fire.

ENDING ENDLESS JUDGEMENT AGAINST YOUR DESTINY

REFERENCES: GENESIS 14: 18- 20, II SAMUEL 5: 6-7, PSALM 24: 1-9

Our assignment today is to put an end to endless judgements. These judgements appear endless because they have held sway over households, moving from generation to generation, and seem to be unstoppable. Today, we are going to learn how to put an end to such seemingly endless judgement. In particular, we will deal with the enemy denying you the access and ability to perform your major assignment.

Gen 14: 18- 20

When Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek, the unborn generations in his loins paid tithe as well. Many Christians are facing challenges they cannot understand, not because of what they did, but as a result of what their forefathers did. Like Abraham, when they bowed to, offered sacrifice to, or worshipped an idol, well, the children in their loins did as well.

Melchizedek was not only a king, but a priest of God as well. When he met with Abraham, he blessed him, and gave him bread and wine- symbolic of the Word and the Spirit. Today, any church that lacks either or both of these is not a divine gathering.

Right there, in the land called Salem, short for Jerusalem, Abraham paid tithe of all to the king and priest of God.

II Sam 5: 6-7

In our generation, there are those that are renowned as prophets. Yet, there are those whose prophetic office is evident, not in their title, but in their ministry. They are not called prophets, but they walk in the prophetic office.

While Samuel was recognised as a national prophet, David was known only as a king. Yet, his prophetic ministry was greater than Samuel’s, so much so that his prophecies were world renowned and transcended generations.(Acts 2:30)

Under the prophetic leadership of Samuel, and during the reign of Saul many lands were conquered. However, there was one land that these two could not possess: the land of the Jebusites.

When David became king, he called his men to go on Jerusalem with him. He understood that it was his major assignment.

Until you hit your Jerusalem, you have not achieved anything. Whatever else you lay claim to as achievements are irrelevant in the face of your MAJOR.

Jesus also walked in this understanding, for He spoke concerning Jerusalem, saying ‘...we go up to Jerusalem... (Matt 20:18)’. And, when Herod threatened Him, He declared that must reach Jerusalem before He died.

In the same spirit, David forsook the festivities that came with ascending the throne, and made the campaign for Jerusalem a priority. He saw that he was the father of the saved of the Lord; therefore, he had to go up and enter the capital city- the major assignment which his predecessors had failed to perform.

The enemy will contend with your major assignment. They will not mind your other accomplishments, but will vigorously resist your going up, and possessing your capital city. You must therefore be ready to fight.

Jerusalem was no mean city. It was strategically located to deter oppositions. So, Samuel and Saul could not enter the city...but David did.

Whatever enemies your progenitors failed to conquer, you will conquer; whatever exploits they could not do, you will perform; if you are ready to fight as David did.

You have to take battle to the enemy. This land, was known as Salem, had now become Jebus- inhabited by the Jebusites. When they saw David, they taunted him, confident that he could not get in. But he did take the land, and called it its proper name- the stronghold of Zion; the mount of God; the Church of God.

It is sad to see that the Zion of God is being occupied by the enemy today. The stronghold of the Church has been overrun by strangers; therefore power, knowledge, wisdom and revelation are missing in the house of God.

It is worth pondering that prophet Samuel did not see this city as a priority. Yet, David went after it with a sense of purpose and urgency.

A Christian must discover his major assignment in his household, marriage, ministry; and must not be ignorant of the ancient powers in his way. These powers are skilful at shutting doors against major assignments and diverting people’s energy through distractions.

These distractions come in form of the pursuit of life’s advancements- education, career, business, money, marriage. They keep men occupied and blindsided from their real assignment.

It is time to go back to the original plan of God. Firstly, you must come to Christ and be cleansed by His Blood. Secondly, you must believe that you now belong to God, and any claim to the contrary by evil powers in inconsequential. Thirdly, you must be ready to prove the devils wrong over your life and your major assignment.

The claim of the Jebusites over the land was countered by David because he looked into the master plan of heaven, and fought with the understanding that the land belonged to God. More so, the priest of God had blessed Abraham on that land.

Ps 24: 1-9

These words of mystery came from the mouth of David, by revelation. It is surprising that Samuel did not know this...

The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof

The earth, and all that is in it, including the devil thereof, belongs to the Lord. Therefore, any power claiming ownership over your family, land, is a liar!

...the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded in upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

When Jesus declared judgement upon the devil (Jn12:31), he (the devil) could not claim ownership of the world as he had done in the wilderness because he knew that Christ’s judgement was divine. Just because Adam had lost dominion to the devil did not change the truth that, in the beginning, the world belonged to Christ.

Brethren, your destiny is stronger than your enemies, because it is older than your enemies. It was in the beginning with your Maker; therefore, no claim of ancient powers can overrule that which is truly everlasting.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place?

David saw that the place inhabited by the Jebusites was the holy place of God, which his father Abraham had possessed by paying tithe upon it. He understood that someone had to ascend and claim it.

Dear parents, I urge you not to short change the future of your unborn generations. Be diligent to know your major assignment and obey every divine instruction, so that you can guarantee the inheritance of generations after you.

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.

These are the requirements for possessing your Jerusalem. The enemies see you from afar and are watching for a stain, a broken hedge to capitalise upon. However, the man who seeks the Lord in holiness and purity of hands, heart and mouth will receive the divine capacity to possess the land.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Who is this King of glory? the LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.

This is the mystery behind Samuel’s inability to enter the capital city. He could not see the spiritual gates mounted to keep people out. But David saw them.

You must work to be older than your fathers by gaining access to mysteries and revelations they were not privy to, through the Holy Ghost. David could declare his intention to bring the church to that land, and issue a divine charge against the ancient gates because of the revelation he had.

... even lift them up

It is your responsibility to lift them up. God will only work with you when you show yourself serious about the business at hand and ready to do the work.

You must come to church with the eyes, heart and zeal of David. Get ready to establish mount Zion in the capital city of Zion.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My soul, receive the fire to end this endless evil judgement against my life.

  • My life, receive fire to enter my major assignment.

  • My life and destiny, I charge you; receive fire to enter your major.

  • Ancient endless judgement standing against my major assignment; I destroy you off by fire.

  • Ancient judgement over my household, fighting to frustrate my major assignment; I destroy you by fire.

  • Ancient judgement that has entered my life, contrary to my assignment; I cast you out by fire.

  • Any judgement that makes me appear dirty before my helpers; I cast you off and destroy you by fire.

  • Ancient doors blocking my way; hear the judgement of the lord. Scatter by fire!

REVELATION ENFORCES RESTITUTION IN JUDGEMENT (PART B)

REFERENCES: JOSHUA 7:25-26, ISAIAH 33:9, ISAIAH 65:9-10

We have learnt that Christ will not return until there is restitution of all things. (Acts 3:21) He can only come to reign as King of kings when you rule indeed as a king. This demands that you make the enemy give back all he has stolen from you. However, you cannot enforce restitution if it has not been revealed to you. If you do not catch a thief, how can you make him return what he stole? (Jn 10:10, Pro 6:30-31) You can only make the devil give back what he has stolen when you have revealed proof that he is behind what you have been experiencing.

We learnt that the tradition of visiting fortune tellers has imposed destinies that negate God’s divine plan upon many lives (Isa 65:11-12).

Josh 7: 25-26

And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? The LORD shall trouble thee this day. and all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire...and they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called The valley of Achor, [or Troubling][AMP] unto this day.

When Achan and his household were killed, the source of pollution, and the cause of God’s anger in the midst of Israel was removed. However, the land was not so fortunate. While executing judgement, the land received a curse, and its name was changed to the Place of Trouble (AMP).

Isa 33:9

The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

When you experience barrenness, abortion of visions, loss and dryness despite your best efforts, it is a sign that the land has been cursed.

When a place has been cursed, it becomes a source of affliction to whoever dwells therein. Without an understanding of the mystery behind the land, a person would struggle and toil in vain in such a place. Whether it be an ancestral home, a place of business or even a place of abode, it will live true to the evil name it has been given.

Hiel lost his first and last sons, his good vision and financial strength notwithstanding, because he did not understand the mystery behind the land he was rebuilding. His spiritual poverty made him poor indeed. (I Kgs 16:34)

Isa 65: 9-10

And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

Jesus, the inheritor of the revelation of God, will bring in God’s elect into the inheritance. Through Him, we inherit God’s revelation and dwell in it.

When this happens to a place that was once a wilderness, it transforms it into a lush green land that attracts flocks; and the once trouble- ridden land becomes a place of rest for good things.

In Josh 7 and Isa 33, we saw three sad scenarios:

  • the land of trouble; that person who is constantly buffeted by troubles, such that goodness, blessings, divine power and helpers do not find him a profitable life to rest in.

  • the wilderness- like life, void of any good things; that person who has nothing useful to offer and is considered an empty vessel by all who know him

  • the life that casts off it fruits; that person who is plagued by aborted dreams and visions, no matter how hard he works.

When anyone of these inherits and dwells in the revelation of God, their reality changes. The troubled life is delivered and becomes attractive to helpers, prosperity, power, divine presence and greatness, as a life worth resting in; the empty and dry life becomes a lush and fertile place, drawing souls to feed on the abundance of wisdom;  and fruitful

There can be no recovery without discovery. These testimonies will be a reality when the person takes up the responsibility to investigate the root of his affliction. The curse on Jericho remained until it was discovered by the sons of prophets.

You must discover to recover your original destiny.

It is sad to note that many in this generation are too busy wasting time. Men would rather know the most intimate details about movie, music and sport stars than be bothered with deep mysteries of the Word.

The latter part of vs 10 reveals a vital key.

...for my people that have sought me.

The glory promised in this scripture is the privileged portion of those who have sought the Lord. They seek to discover the mystery behind their afflictions; they seek to understand how it came to be, and how to overcome it.

Many Christians are yet to lay hold of the power of prayer. They speak well formed words that lack fire in the place of prayer, forgetting that Christ pressed in prayer on Mount Olives. They forget that His prayers made His sweat like blood, and as they fell on the earth, the curse of Gen 3: 19 was broken.

Such Christians cannot lay hold of the promise of rest, because it is reserved for the people of God who seek Him.

Brethren, apply this principle to every area of your life: is your marriage, business, ancestral household, or your body a place of trouble? Don’t abandon your place because there is beauty in it. Seek God and receive the power to turn your place of trouble into a place of rest.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My soul, receive the fire to seek God at all times.

  • Any judgement imposed on me or my household, to trouble my life and destiny; I damage your power by fire

  • Any judgement causing dryness, trouble in my life; I destroy your power over my life by fire.

APPLICATION DEMANDS REVELATION (PART B)

JOHN 16: 7-11, JOHN 1:11-12, JOHN 14:18-19, I THESSALONIANS 5:22-23

We learnt, in the first part of this teaching, that revelation is essential to the effective application of judgement. We also learnt that Christ brought the truth to the Gentiles so that it (the truth) is enthroned. This means that the truth has come to set down every negative judgement that had reigned over your life, and reign in its place.

Jn 16:7-11

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

The coming of the Holy Ghost is to reprove the world- of sin, righteousness and judgement. The world in this context refers to your immediate environment. Your family, work environment, your generation...Jesus is saying that the Holy Ghost has come to prove to these people, through you, that they are wrong without Christ.

When He comes into your life, it is first to show to the world that they have sinned, then that they are not righteous. Lastly, He is in your life to prove to them that their judgement cannot be right.

How will this happen? How do you convince the world that you have something they must aspire to; that the gods they believe in are wrong; and that without Christ they are wrong? How will the Holy Ghost in you convince them of this?

John 1:11-12 gives the answer.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name

Only those who receive Christ are given the power to become the sons of God. The Spirit of the Father distinguishes you from the rest. It does not matter how many times they pray, or to whom they pray; without the Holy Ghost, they cannot receive the power to call God ‘Abba’, ‘My Father’.

He will also reprove the world around you of righteousness. He does this by making another distinction. Only those that have the Holy Ghost can see Christ. The world cannot see Him, but you will.

Jn 14:18-19

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Seeing, fellowshipping, enjoying the presence of Christ becomes the exclusive privilege of those who received His Spirit. Now, when you see Him, you live because He lives. Christ will reveal Himself to you, so that He can minister life- and all its additional benefits- to you.

It does not matter who is in the world; it could even be your twin. As long as he does not have the Spirit of Christ, he cannot see Who you see, or enjoy what you do.

This also means that seeing the spirit of the dead on a frequent basis is a ministration of death.  Now, if I serve God, if I am filled with the Holy Ghost, if I faithfully pay my tithes and offerings; but do enjoy the ministration of God through His servants, it is a sign that something is wrong. It behoves me to investigate the matter. On the other hand, when I am ministered to by His servants, I must also take the time to observe and understand the purpose for the visitation.

Your belief will affect your vision; your vision will affect and generate your judgement; and your judgement will affect your experience. Change a man’s belief, and you will change the man.

It is impossible to see the living Jesus in all His glory and splendour- filled with power, strength, wisdom and light- and remain the same. You cannot wine and dine with Him and not be changed.

Whatever you see in Him will be passed into your life. If you see Him on fire, you cannot but be on fire also. If you Him walking in power, you will also walk and conquer in power. You become what you see in Him.

So, the Holy Ghost will reprove of sin and righteousness. How will He reprove of judgement?

Heb 2: 14-15

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Snake catchers protect themselves against potential attacks, by using the vaccines developed from the venom of the snakes. This principle explains the divine strategy that destroyed the works of the devil.

From the beginning of the world, Christ was not flesh and blood. However, He had seen the dark state of affairs in the world- that wicked powers, judgements, covenants and demonic activities had conspired to make a waste of my life and destiny. Therefore, He who was not flesh and blood took on that form. He who had never sinned became sin; He who could not die took on the form of man, so that, by dying, He could destroy the devil and deliver me from perpetual bondage, brought on by the fear of death.

Just as He became a serpent to destroy the venom of snakes in the desert, He took on flesh and blood so that in that form, He may become dead, and destroy the devil as well as the power he wielded because of the fear of death.

The demoniac at Gadarenes was delivered because he saw Jesus. The legion in him had no choice but to recognise the Lordship of Christ. When he was delivered, he went on to preach the gospel in 10 cities! The devils possessed and tormented to frustrate him from his destiny.

Do not allow religion to deny you the benefits of your salvation. When the Holy Spirit is in you, you leave the state of living death, powerlessness, confusion, stagnation, frustration and failure. When you see Jesus, you receive life and all that follows it in Him.

I Thess 5: 22-23

You must also reject every appearance of evil in all its forms. It is not enough to abstain from evil in the physical; you must reject its ministration to your spirit and soul as well.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My life, receive fire to see Jesus.

  • My life, receive fire to reject every evil appearance.

  • I conquer, by fire, every evil appearance that has been ministering to my life.

  • Every evil power using evil appearances against my life; I destroy you by fire.

WALKING IN DIVINE COVENANT

REFERENCES: PSALMS 74; 20, GALATIANS 3: 15- 17, GENESIS 22: 12, 15-16, PSALMS 78:9-10, LUKE 22: 52-53

If you must disallow the wicked from performing, then you must walk in divine covenant.

Ps 74:20

Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty

Since there can be no call to respect a nonexistent covenant, there must firstly be a covenant between a Christian and God. However, if God must have respect unto the covenant, then the Christian must walk in the covenant. Sadly, many Christians are inconsistent in keeping the covenants they make with God.

Gal 3: 15- 17

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed [duly established], no man disannulleth, or added thereto.

Brethren, having a covenant with God is one thing; having an established covenant is another. For that to happen, you must be patient and obedient to divine instruction. This is because, once the covenant is established, no one can annul or alter it. That is why the devil with stop at nothing to ensure that the covenant is not confirmed. Therefore, you must be sensitive to know what it will cost you and be ready to pay the price.

To better understand this, let us look into the life of King Saul. (I Sam 13: 8-14)

Although he was anointed to be the king of Israel, the covenant was not established on that day. After a period of time, God commanded him by the mouth of Samuel to tarry at Gilgal for 7 days, until Samuel appeared. Unfortunately, while he did wait 7 days, he was not patient enough to wait until Samuel appeared. The bible records that as soon as he was done offering up the burnt offering, Samuel appeared. And so, sadly on the day that the covenant of kingship would have been established forever in his household and tribe, he lost it.

He lost the kingdom because it had not yet been established.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed  before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disanuul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Now, Abraham had many sons- Ishmael, Isaac, and the sons of Keturah. Yet, the promise, the covenant of God was not to all Abraham’s sons, but to one- Isaac. This means that Isaac was chosen by God to be the Christ in his household.

When the tribe of Benjamin lost the kingdom through Saul, God chose the tribe of Judah, the household of Jesse, and specifically, David. And since David did not miss it, Solomon was chosen of David’s sons to continue the covenant, not because he was the eldest, but because God chose him.

In the same manner, among the children of Abraham, God chose to establish His covenant with Isaac alone.

This means that, in a household of as much as 70, if God has chosen to speak to you, count it a great privilege and be humbled by it. Be swift to obey because it means that He desires to establish His covenant with you.

How then did Isaac become Christ in his household?

Jesus became the Christ the day He was baptised by John. Despite the protest of the Baptist, He insisted and was baptised. As he came out of the water, the heavens opened, the glory of God descended on Him and God endorsed Him as the Christ.

Gen 22: 12, 15-16

And he said, lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

The build up to this verse showed Isaac as a merciful son who agreed to be the ram for his father’s sacrifice. And just as his father offered him up, the heavens opened and a voice came forth.  And so, just has Jesus was made Christ by the declaration of the Father from heaven, God, speaking from heaven established His covenant with Abraham and Isaac.

Ps 78:9-10

The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle. They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law.

Brethren, no matter who you are- rich or poor, educated or uneducated, anointed or not- the day of battle, will face you. When that day comes, it will not be enough to know the Word; you must be ready to wield it as weapon with which you stand, fight, and overcome in the day of battle.

Ephraim was fully armed but could not perform in the day of battle because they failed to keep the covenant of God. In the same manner, many Christians have also fallen in the day of battle because they failed to wait and work until their covenant with God was established.

Lk 22: 52-53

Then Jesus said unto the chief priest, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power or darkness.

There is an hour of darkness waiting for every man, when the wicked will come up, fully armed, against you. At that moment, how you walk in the covenant will determine whether you chase and overcome the enemy, or the wicked will chase you and perform against you.

It is therefore important that you continue in the covenant and wait for its establishment of the covenant. Your destiny is greater than whatever price you have to pay.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, forgive me for walking out of the covenant.

  • I surrender all to You.

  • Any error that takes away my boldness; I destroy you by fire

  • My soul, receive the fire of God to conquer every hour of darkness.

  • Every moment of darkness against me this year; I conquer you by fire now.

DON’T LET THE WICKED PERFORM IN CHRIST: WINNING WORD WAR (PART 2)

29TH MARCH, 2016

DON’T LET THE WICKED PERFORM IN CHRIST:

WINNING WORD WAR (PART 2)

REFERENCES: LUKE 1:34- 35, JOHN 1: 14, II TIMOTHY 2: 17, PROVERBS 16: 27, 30

In the kingdom of God, battles are fought, not with swords, guns or missiles, but with the Word. Victory in the battle of life is therefore determined by how well you understand the Word and uses it in winning the war of words.

However, whenever a word is spoken about or against someone, it will ordinarily fall away and be ineffective. This is because it is missing the most essential key- a spirit. This means that except a word with the backing of a spirit, it is ineffective. However, when it is spoken and backed up by a spirit, it will come to pass.

Jesus promised the Apostles power, only after the Holy Spirit comes upon them. (Acts 1: 8) This means that a word is only empowered by a spirit.

Lk 1: 34- 35

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy [Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee]

This story began with strange tidings from the angel to the Virgin Mary: you shall be pregnant and have a child. Now, Mary asks the obvious question; how could that possibly happen when the vital requirement for generating babies – the seed of a man- was not in her? The answer: by the Holy Spirit.

Imagine if the speaker was an agent of darkness, and had spoken negative words into the maiden’s life? Well, an evil spirit would have been invoked to generate evil power and bring an evil word to pass.

While this happened and led to the performance of a divine plan, it could as well have ended in evil, if the speaker had spoken evil words into her life, by an evil spirit!

So, we find that many Christians, who are destined by God for greatness, end up living with the manifestation of evil babies- of frustration, limitation, failure, poverty- even though the ‘seed’ of such was not in them. Evil words, spoken by evil agents, and empowered by evil spirits bring these evil babies to life.

In winning the war of words therefore, we must identify 3 factors:

  • The Speaker

  • The Sentence of Judgement, and

  • The Spirit

Jn 1: 14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us

This is the testimony that Mary did indeed have an immaculate birth.

Let us take a moment to consider this scripture. The Word went through a process that resulted in it becoming flesh. It only happened because the Holy Spirit processed the Word and made it into a baby, and He dwelt among us.

In the same manner, a spirit can process a word, bringing it to life and empowering it to dwell among a household and work against it.

(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

When the apostles beheld the glory of the Word, they testified that it was full of glory, one that could only have come from God. There are also things that we behold in the lives of others that tell us ‘this could only have come from the devil’. For instance, if a life full of grace and truth is from the Father, then one full of lies is from the devil.

II Tim 2: 17

And their word will eat as doth a canker (cancer): of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus

Brethren, the words of the wicked are cancerous, eating its way into the flesh, business, marriages and careers of men, and even the Church of God. Their words can do these evil deeds because the men who speak, or teach them, stand before evil spirits.

If you must overcome them, you need access to the Word of God that grows and prevails over the enemy, and that will only be if you stand and speak before the Spirit of God. You must go deeper in the Word, in His presence.

Pro 16: 27, 30

An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

He shutteth his eyes to devise forward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.

Consider the process used by the wicked to generate results carefully.

Firstly, they dig up evil from the books of the devil. Then, with complete focus and unwavering faith, he gives his full attention to the words and speaks them. As he speaks, he devices- bringing arguments together- to fulfil his evil desires.

If you must win this war of words, you must dig out mysteries from the Word, take those mysteries to God in prayer, with unwavering focus and faith. Then, whatever you say will surely come to pass.

DON’T LET THE WICKED PERFORM IN CHRIST: WINNING WORD WAR (PART 1)

DON’T LET THE WICKED PERFORM IN CHRIST:

WINNING WORD WAR (PART 1)

REFERENCES: HEBREWS 10:7, LUKE 24: 44- 45, MICAH 2: 1-2, ACTS 19: 18-20

Today, as we begin the first part of this teaching on winning the war of the word, we will do well to remember what is written- everything was made by the word. Therefore, if the wicked must not perform, you must understand the mystery behind the word.

Heb 10:7

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God

We have already learnt the mystery behind accessing your life and place in the Book, by the Blood (listen to Morning Manna, March 2016). Now, we need to fully understand the importance of the Book.

Brethren, your life is in the Book. The Book speaks volume of your life and destiny.  The picture of your life is in the Book. This means that you are in this world to fulfil all that is written of you in the Book.

There are many sacred books in the world, but none can stand before the Book. It is the Book of books and its value is immeasurable. Unfortunately, we fail to access the mystery of the Book because we regard and treat it as a common book.

Lk 24: 44- 45

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the  psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures

These were the words of Jesus to His disciples, after His resurrection. Referring to the books that make the volume of the Book, He reveals to them that His destiny was as it was written therein.

Then He opened their understanding. This was so that they may understand the scriptures, and see their lives and destinies in the Book as well.

Brethren, your life is written in the volume of the Book. Genesis to Revelation tells the story of your life- your marriage, ministry, career, business- as ordained by God. It is a more sure word of prophecy concerning you. If only you understand the Book...

The enemy also has books, in which he has written his own evil will for your life- his will is to frustrate God’s agenda for your life. This means that the wicked fight you from a book, and if you must overcome them and make your way prosperous as ordained by God, you must know what is written in the Book.

Mic 2: 1- 2

Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! When the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.

Just as electricity is devised by bringing opposite charges together, the wicked devise evil by bringing things together and combining them in order to achieve their goal. At night, they study their books and devise the evil they desire. And in the morning, they can confidently practise wickedness because they have gotten the power in their hand form books.

Sadly, many Christians fail to practice the power of God because they do not study the volume of books. We sleep through the teaching of the Word during vigils, waking up only to pray, because we do not understand that our power is in the Book.

No lawyer worth his salt would go to court without sufficient study. To do so would be akin to criminal negligence. Yet, we lug big bibles around but fail to sit and study the books therein. Thus we fail to defend and uphold our destinies in the Supreme Court of God because we do not have enough words to build our case!

The wicked practise evil, because it is in the power of their hand. Well, you will practise anointing- the power of God. If they are evil practitioners, you must live up to your divine profession as an anointing practitioner.

Brethren, the source of a thing is also its sustainer. If you received power to overcome sin by of the Word, if you received the power of the Holy Ghost by the Word, then the same Word can give you the power to deal with every devil.

It is sad that today, many in the Church have relegated the Word of God and exalted prophecy in its stead. They profess to be Christians but do not practise the power of God.

And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

It is possible for the wicked to covet your portion, even your divinely given portion. The story of Naboth comes to mind here. It was his land and he rightly refused to sell it. However, he failed to practise God’s power. Therefore Jezebel could practise sorcery against him, kill him, and take his inheritance for her husband.

This means that you must learn to practise the power of God, not only in claiming your divine rights, but also in protecting and retaining them, because the wicked is studying to take what is yours and waiting to practise in the morning.

So, when the enemy covets your marriage, lands, business, position, etc, you must have the right word with which to fight your case in the Court of God, confident that God is both your Law- Giver and Judge!

The enemy covets, but you must desire.

Acts 19: 18-20

And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their [evil] deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts [sorcery] brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

These new believers once practised sorcery over the lives of men (take a moment to imagine how many lives, homes, businesses and destinies would have been damaged or wasted by their evil practice), and the source of their deeds is revealed: they devised the evil from books.

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

This was a battle between the Acts of the Apostles and the art of sorcery; the practitioners of anointing came up against practitioners of sorcery, and prevailed against their source of power. Thus, the word of God grew in the mouth of the Apostles and prevailed over sorcery and it practitioners.

There are sorcerers in your household that must hear the Word and surrender. If this must happen, you must grow in the power of God, through the study of His word. Then, you can practise the anointing, fight and prevail.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • My Father, I hand over my life to You.

  • My life; receive the higher power of God.

  • Father, I am ready for more of Your fire to prevail.

  • Holy Ghost, help me to understand the Book that speaks about me.

  • My soul, get connected to the throne of the Lord.

  • Any power practising witchcraft over my life; be wasted by fire.

  • Any power practising the will of satan over my body; I destroy you by fire.

DON’T LET THE WICKED PERFORM IN CHRIST: BECOMING A STRONG FOUNDATION

DON’T LET THE WICKED PERFORM IN CHRIST:

BECOMING A STRONG FOUNDATION

REFERENCES: MATTHEW 7: 24 - 27, PROVERBS 25:26, PROVERBS 10: 25

The foundation of a building determines its potential height. In the same manner, the foundation of a Christian determines how far we go in Christ and the height of greatness that can be attained through us- the stronger the foundation, the higher the Christian.

There is another sober point to note. When you are privileged to hear the truth, but fail to live by it, choosing rather to go back to the life of sin, you make yourself a waster of divine resources, and a wicked person in the eyes of the devil, deserving of satanic intervention.

Matt 7: 24 - 27

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened to unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

One of the banes of the Christian race is that many Christians start their journey with the wrong belief that it will be a rosy experience, ignorant to the fact that the race is actually a great fight. And so we live unguarded lives, and become disillusioned victims of the devil’s rage.

Yet Jesus tells us hear that we will have to contend with the winds, for they will surely blow with the intention of bringing the house of your life, marriage, business, health, prosperity and destiny down.

This is because the devil will fight you every step of the way- the higher you go, the greater the battle-with a sole purpose: to pull you down.

The key then to withstanding the raging wind of the wicked is to hear and do the Word.

You can know a man who is mindful of being a strong foundation by his disposition to the Word. Such a man loves the Word and seeks it diligently. But he is not just a hearer of the Word.

While the wise hear and do according to the Word of God, there is another group of people who hear the Word, but do them not. Sadly, many Christians fall under this category- they are gifted but lack the strong foundation because they do not care for the Word of God.

Christ calls this group of people fools. They have access to the truth that is able to build them up and make them too strong for the wind, but they do fail to walk according to it. And so, the wind comes and they fall; and great is their fall!

Pro 25:26

A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

When a righteous man falls before the wicked, it is because something went wrong with the foundation of his life. He lacks the ability to stand because his foundation is lacking something.

Brethren, it is time to face hard truths. Jesus has paid the ultimate price for your salvation. What then will be your excuse for not maximising and fulfilling destiny? If Jesus is really in you, why then do you still run from dogs, cows, masquerades and demons in your dream? Why does the Jesus in you walk in dirty places and eat polluted meals in the realm of the spirit?

A strong foundation is non- negotiable if you must frustrate and overcome the raging of the wicked. The divine expectation is that the wicked fall before the righteous, and not the other way round!

This abomination is a sign that something is wrong with the foundation of his life. The old life, nature and powers are still in him and work against him to bring him down. A man with a strong foundation however knows that anger, unfaithfulness, immorality, instability and inconsistency are enemies of his destiny.

Pro 10: 25

As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation

We have already seen the two groups of believers- those who hear the Word and do it, and those who do it not.  The whirlwind of the devil will attack both groups, but only one group will remain standing after the storm- those grounded in Christ.

Brethren, God has called you to become an everlasting foundation upon whom He will build His Church in his household. But for that to happen, you must be stable and consistent, a faithful hearer and doer of all His word.

Then, you will see the end of all the wicked and remain the last man standing indeed.

PRAYER POINTS

In the name of Jesus,

  • Holy Spirit, take over my life and make me a strong and sure foundation.

  • Higher power of God, possess my life and make me a sure foundation.

  • Every foundational seed in my life, fighting my destiny; I destroy you by fire.

  • Every known and unknown powers rising against my life, to beat down my destiny, health, marriage, business; I beat you down by fire now.

  • Every wicked power rising to win over my life again; I win over you by fire.
